I am staying at the Swan for the first time and we're leaving in August. I have also become a Starwood member thanks to all of you who told me to sign up.
Is there a special check in or anything else I need to know since this is my first visit there? Of course I know nothing about the ameneties there, special offers, etc.
I will be staying concierge so will they help with dinner reservations, etc.?
Thanks everyone!!

We stayed CL at Swan last 12/28-1/02/04. It was wonderful! It is a Westin and service was fantactic. Breakfast and evening hors d'hoerves were great and plentiful. Each morning/afternoon staff was available for ps needs or otherwise. I only asked them to cancel a ps for us. Turn-down service left new towels and freshed mineral water in each room. We checkd in at a busy time and so all staff were checking in people even though there is a SPG check-in. It was so busy that we were not offered the late check-out time for our last day. We had tried to upgrade to a suite, but none were available(holidays and all). You can see the offerings at allears.net under photos for Swan or go to swandolpin.com to see the lounge. etc. Have a great time.

Thanks for the info Connears. I usually like to take advantage of late checkout also so I hope they can do it for us. I'm really looking forward to trying the Swan.
Any suggestions which is the best room with a nice view of Epcot in the club floor?

We had 1134 which faced the front of the bulding, but it had a great view of TOT and the fireworks at MGM(special ones for NYE and you can see fantasmic fireworks also). It has a waterway view and partila view of BWV. We enjoyed the view we had. I'm not sure if it was 1134 or 1143, I'll check, sorry.

I've been at the allears site since you last wrote me and gathering so much info! Thanks!!
Let me know definitely what your room number was and I'll jot it down and take it with me when we go so I can ask about it. The only request I've put in so far was that I asked for a corner room with a view of Epcot. I have no clue what floor or room number that is but someone on the board once told me the corner rooms are real nice because of the extra windows and view.
