I have a few questions about South West...
1) Is there an age restriction for children in booster seats, our kids will be 1 dd 6yrs and 2 ds 4yrs (twins) and last time we had to take car seats for them and was pain... didn't want to mess with them this time.

2) If we do have to take boosters do they do any sort of pre-load for people with children (I understand how the A, B, C thing works).

3) We are traveling with a group of 7 and was a little worried about not sitting together (especially the kids) has anyone had any problems with this in their experiences?

Many thanks in advance for any help!

BTW we are traveling in Jan.

They will need the car seats when they get to FL. They can't use them on the plane.

It depends sometimes on how many families they have the age they will let you preboard.

thanks a bunch, guess I should have thought to check the website (duh) oh well
thanks, shawn

rather than bring boosters with you, have you inquired into whether or not the car rental company has some?

We were going with Fl Tours to get to the hotel (Pop) and Disney Transport on site. I seen where Fl tours offers car seats and boosters.

Good thought though, thanks

Don't use car rental booster seats - you have no idea what condition they are in or the quality of seat you will get. Bring your own booster seats, and check them at the gate, not with your other luggage.

We forgot our booster seat for our four year old last week (we never took it out of the car when we were dropped off @ the airport). The car rental agent told me that Florida law says that children over 40 lbs. did not need a booster seat. In Illinois the law is children under 8 yrs. It worked out well for us because the van we rented had a built in child saftey seat, otherwise we were going to buy a cheap one when we did our Walmart stop.

I doubt you will all have seats together. There is no assigned seating. Get there early, try for A passes and you might be able to sit close to each other.
