SWA RR program change

I just got a postcard in the mail today that the double credit promotion is ending after seven years. They are instituting a new program that begins January 1, 2004. RR menbers who book online get one bonus credit for each round trip from Jan 1 - June 30.

Double credits are good until the end of this year.

Any thoughts anyone? Does this sound like it is going to take longer to rack up a RR ticket???

Darn, I finally signed our kids up for RR because we fly 4 times in a 12 month period and book on line. I figured as long as DH and I earn an award, the kids could too. We will never earn a flight with this new program.
That is if you would still have 12 months in which to earn it.
