Planning our next trip and disappointed with SWA pricing that was released today for June travel dates. Contemplating booking 1-way for BDL-MCO at $105 and rolling the dice for a better return fare (currently at $165 on day of release!) What do you great experienced Disers think?

I realize booking Rnd trip w/ the above fares is about equal to if they were both at $125 which was what I paid in 2012 ....but it irks me to pay $165 home when I can fly down for only $105.

Why couldn't the return trip have been $125! I would have snagged the thing and been done w/ this. So....do I wait and book rnd trip later? Book 1-way down and hope for a better wanna get away fare to return or a ding? or just book it realizing it's about the same as what I paid before? Unfortunately getting a credit if the fare goes down does me no good as we won't be travelling in the next 12mths.

help please!:confused3

You won't get any better than $105, so definitely book that now. Then just wait and keep checking for the return to come down.

We also fly out of BDL. Usually on jetBlue for 105 each way.
We have considered flying SW down for 105 and jet Blue home for the 105 fare when Jet Blue was at 195 down.
Eventually fare went down to 105 each way which was nice.
It wont get any cheaper. Id either do one way for now or consider 2 airlines.
