Great news for those who have multiple RR accounts in their households! You can now transfer your points to a friend's or family member's RR account! I just got this email about buying points and it was mentioned in email!

Dear XXXXXX:

Rapid Rewards® is proud to introduce the new Rapid Rewards Points Center! You can continue to buy the points you need, but you can now buy points to be given as a gift or transfer points from your Rapid Rewards account to another—all from one location! Plus, Rapid Rewards Visa Cardmembers earn two points for every dollar spent!

To celebrate the launch, Rapid Rewards wants you to get your Wheels Up Faster with Bonus Points! For a limited time, Buy or Gift Rapid Rewards Points and get 25% more bonus points—up to 15,000 points!

Check it out here (note that you must already be logged into your RR account for the link to work):

ETA: It will cost you $10 per 1,000 pts. transferred. So, it's not a great deal if you have tens of thousands of points that you want to combine in a single account. But if you only need a couple thousand in one account to get a someone a ticket, you can do it.

This is good news!!

Do you have to transfer it in 1000-pt increments? If you had 1300 in another account, for instance, could you transfer all of those points or just 1000? My kids all have something like 500 in their accounts so I'm not sure whether or not they could be transferred at all.

Thanks for the info! I didn't get this email.

thanks for posting had no idea....
And we have multiple accounts in our household.....surprised I did not receive anything, even as a cardholder too..............Hmmmmmmmmmm

first time you transfer to a household member has to be 1000, after that it can be 500.
the cost is 10. per 1000.

the bonus 25% Xtra points costs more as gift purchases.....its 27.50 for 1000 plus the 250 Xtra miles....
