We will be at the 50s Prime Time restaurant at the time we will need to checkin for our return flight home on Southwest. So ideally I don't want to have to leave to find a customer service area to use a computer to go online to checkin. My son has an IPOD touch with internet capability that we use at home with wifi. Are there any open wifi spots in the Studios that we can access with this? Or has anyone got suggestions about where to check in if at the Studios? Worst case scenario I may get a friend to do it from home.
I would use my cell phone mobile browser but it is not easy to navigate and being an out of country phone it is extremely expensive.

I've never picked up any unsecured wifi in the parks.

FWIW, I get unlimited international/worldwide data access on my phone for about $1.25 per day. Making calls might be expensive but data might be cheaper than you think.

No WiFi in the parks, no free WiFi in the resorts ($10 per 24 hours for resort guests only for wired in room or WiFi in lobbies and some pool areas). DVC members staying at DVC resorts get free wired Internet.

What about calling the airline and doing seat selection by phone at that time?

Better yet, have a friend or family member (back home) standing-by the computer 24 hours prior to your departure and have THEM do the check-in process for you.

As for boarding passes, SWA will glady print them if you can't...

Thanks for the input, I think I will get them to check us in from home but first will check the cost of my browser in the US, hoping it is as cheap as the $1.25 per day.!
