SW no schedule extension...Wonder if JB will extend theirs?

We are currently accepting air reservations through January 4, 2021. At this time, we do not have a date for our next schedule extension therefore please check back frequently.

Jet Blues next extension (based on past history) would be in mid-July. I wonder if they’ll also delay theirs??

They cancelled a ton of July flights this summer, so it seems JetBlue is bending over backwards trying to limit losses due to light-load flights. So I wouldn't be surprised if their release schedule is later than usual, so they can plan with new developments in mind.

Southwest pushed their last release back from April to late May. They extended their schedule from October to January at that time. I'm guessing they are keeping it open ended so they can release it when it suits them so they don't have to re-schedule it again. I'm sure the two airlines would also like to extend their schedules before the other from the competition perspective.
