SW Jan 9 new release date

Sorry if this is old news, I didn't see it on the first few pages. Checked SW today and it now says January 9 for release of flights after May 9.

That sound about right. Usually they release there schedule 5-6 months out I believe.

Well, yes, but last time I checked it said Dec 20, so this is a change. I had big stars on my calendar for Dec 20 to book flights.

It's funny how excited we get when it comes to booking our WDW vacations.

Thanks for the heads up about the change! That gives us some more time to figure out exactly what we want to do for early June vacation. I also had Dec. 20 marked on my calendar.

I also had marked off Dec. 20th. That's the same day as I can start making my ADR's, so now I have a little more time to handle the flights. Thanks for the heads up!

My trip I want to leave 8/2 and return 8/10....so when they release, I'll only be able to book my flight out. Is that preferable? Lets say I book it, and later there is a better deal, same itinerary, do I get a refund or just TTF?

Just don't get your hopes up for alot of low fares. Recent date releases have shown airfares very high.
