when do you think SW will open their Dings! past May 31? Do you think they will wait until May 1?

They waited very late to open May so I would think you may be well into May before they open June.

They seem to be opening later and restricting the days a LOT more.

It can happen anytime, there were DINGS available up until 6/9 when I booked mine back in January

I agree with DCGRUMPY, several times during January and February they had DINGs that went into June. They were very short term booking times, usually 2 to 3 hours. I jumped on 4 tickets out of Philadelphia for $94 RT [plus taxes and airport fees] even though it meant a 4 hour trip to the airport and 4 hours back home on our return. I was lucky and a few weeks later a DING came up out of Hartford [1 1/2 hour trip each way] for only $20 more round trip so I got an online credit and booked the new flights right away. Four RT tickets for $448.40 total. And I thought the $69 each way I got last May was great. I don't think I'll be able to get such low airfare again for quite some time.

Do you remember when you booked you airfare out of Hartford if the DING was good for all days of the week? I'm in West Hartford and waiting for a late June early July DING but got spooked because the most recent one for May said it was valid for Tuesday and Wednesday flights only. We're flying on the worst possible days: Friday (or late Thursday night, if it helps!) til the following week Saturday.
