SW Ding Fares a thing of the past?

Did SW do away with Ding fares? I still have Ding on my computer but haven't seen a Ding notification in over a year. I emailed SW to ask but only got the canned response that they'd received my email and would be answering soon, which didn't happen.

Are the Ding fares the $49 each way fares? I haven't seen any $49 fares from SMF to SNA since the spring. I hope they run one of those specials soon! I think that Labor Day some flight deals may show up, I'm hoping at least.

It wasn't a "ding" fare, but we had a major deal on flights in Oct.

We're driving to Chicago to fly to LA this Oct.....then spending time in San Diego and flying from there back to Chicago.

We just rebooked our flights from SD to Chicago -- for 1740 pts each (or $41 had we not been paying with SW pts).

I can't believe we can fly cross country (non - stop) at 11am on a Saturday for that cheap!!

WOW! That's quite a score!! I thought I was doing well to get 2 RT tickets from Sacramento to Orange County (CA) for 9000 pts (which translates to $98 RT each).

I just miss the quickie Ding fares that would suddenly pop up and wonder if they're gone for good. At least they still offer the occasional really cheap flight for my route
