SW credits

OK need to get this straight again.
If I book a flight (SW) to Vegas one-way at $99 on SW website (not Ding) and then a better time or price ($65) comes up, can I cancell and get money back or a credit for future use. Or credit to use on the new flight.

Does SW ever refund to your Credit card?

If a Ding! comes up, go through the Ding! booking process all the way to payment.

Open a new window and put in your confirmation # and cancel the previous flight.

Your travel funds should be available almost instantly.

Click on apply travel funds.

You should then have a credit remaining to use in the future.

If you booked the EXACT SAME flight day and time, you SHOULD be able to get a credit card refund. (You have to call and request this. Most have been able to, some have not.)

If you choose a different flight time, you will have a credit with SW to use within a year of the ORIGINAL purchase date.
