I was sitting here sipping my morning coffee, and totally blanked out about checking in at the 24 hour mark! :scared1::scared1:

I got on 20 minutes late and for my family of 6 got B5-B10

We like to sit 3 on one side of the aisle and 3 on the other right across the aisle, this way, the kids can pass games and things back and forth.

I've never had anything but A boarding passes before....I know that the high B's are not horrible, but to you think we will still be able to sit 6 across?

Yes, if you go to the back. The other alternative is 2 rows one behind the other.

Ok, Thats what I was hoping.. not the end of the world if we have to sit in 3 sets of 2 - since the older 2 would be ok on thier own...but we still like to be together.

That makes me feel better too. I booked my family of 5 on seperate reservations to make changes easier but now I am fearful that we will be seperated on the flight. So even if we are in B, we will be okay?

Low B you should be OK. If you get an upper B, you may not get 5 seats together but you should be able to get 2 or 3. C is where it gets tough.

I think it's easier to talk if the seats are in front and back of each other, rather than across. Low B's, you should be fine.

The only time we could not sit together was the time we were at the end of the C's. You'll have no problem.

On our last trip, we were in DHS when I totally forgot to go to guest relations and have them check in for me. I did it 3 hours late and got B boarding passes. But since we had DS1, we were able to board between the A and B. There were LOTS of open rows when we boarded, so if you are in the beginning of B, I have no doubt that you will be able to sit together!

Last month I flew alone with my two girls, ages 6 and 11 and we had B6, 7, & 8. We walked almost to the very back and I saw only one row with all three seats still empty and the woman in front of me sat in it. I kindly asked if she could let us have it and she did. There must have been lots of solo travelers on our flight because almost every row had only one person in it when we boarded (but it filled up by take-off).

Your flight might have connected from somewhere, so some of the passengers already onboard were continuing on to your same destination.

I agree. We're a family of 2 and dh and I each get a child and sit a row behind. It's also easy to pass gum, headphones, dvd's, etc. without bothering other guests or reaching across the aisle. Both kids get a window so there's no bickering. ;)
