SW Air question

We just moved, and now our closest airport has Southwest Airlines. We would like to book a flight, but I was curious what Southwest's policy is on refunding fares if the price goes down. I know of other airlines that give you a travel voucher in the amount of the difference if it changes after you book. Does SW do this too?

I'm not sure what the policy is but I know for a fact that if you book online SW has some of the lowest prices out there so I'm not sure if they would refund if prices goes down but on the plus side: you get to pick your seat and you get to check 2 bags for free per person!!!

I'm sure if you looked on their website they might explain it but the fact that they usually offer the best deals, I don't see them refunding money but it's worth a shot to explore.

Thanks for the info. I looked into it when we found out we were moving and the fares were $99. Now they are $104. I know it is only $5, but I hate that I didn't book sooner. I was waiting for the move to be official, etc. I will probably book and hope it doesn't go back down so I don't feel like I missed out!

If you book a SWA flight and the price goes down, or you want to book a different flight that is less expensive, SWA will issue ticketless travel funds to be used within 1 year of original purchase. SWA does not charge any fees for doing this.

We had so many credits from our recent flight to Orlando that we were able to plan a trip to Baltimore this fall.

Thank you for that information. That is wonderful news. I knew our move was a good thing for more than one reason - our flight options to Disney will be more flexible!
