hi, has anyone had sushi at any of the grand floridian restaurants recently? 1900 park faire or gaspy's?

No but we had it at kona cafe in July and it was delicious - and only a monorail ride away :)

No sushi at the Grand Floridian that I am aware of. If you are looking to splurge California Grill has some amazing, albeit expensive, sushi options. Tokyo dining in Epcot is also a great spot to grab some sushi.

Just take a short, pretty walk over to the Poly and go to Kona Island which is the little walk up sushi bar. They have sushi, sashimi, and all the rolls that are offered at Kona Cafe.
You don’t need a reservation (can’t make them in fact)

I'm with everyone else- Kona is great but Grand Floridian has the best sushi on property.

EDIT: I meant to say that Cali Grill has the best sushi. I guess I had a little too much to drink that night. :drinking1

It's been a couple of years since I did the dinner, but 1900 Park Fare had sushi on the dinner buffet.

Unless it has changed recently, they do sell sushi at Gaspie's in the grab and go fridges. My daughter eats this every trip. We did find that it sells out pretty quickly and they do not restock. It is not made at GF. We often bought the sushi earlier in the day and stashed in our fridge for her to eat later. It isn't anything special, though, just California rolls and maybe tuna rolls??

Once we found a crab roll at Cat. Cook's grab and go. I assumed it was imitation crab meat, but noticed otherwise as we were standing in the checkout line. Told DH I was surprise to see this is real crab. CM acknowledged that it was indeed real crab and that Kona Island makes them. Perhaps Kona Island also supplies the GF with sushi as well.
