Looking at the fall season lineup, I'm starting to realize my DVR will be full. Time to put Netflix on hold because I'll have plenty of stuff to watch.

During my Mom's life we would all decide in September (fall season) who would tape what. That was back in the GOOD OL DAYS when we could exchange VCR tapes...anyone remember that???

We'd all call each other and everyone would watch one and tape another. It worked!

Luckily most of my good stuff is on cable and they repeat a lot. Survivor is also online and I watch it during lunch at the office. It CAN be done!

Good first show... with some obvious exceptions. They concentrated totally on about 5 people and hardly at all on the others. I get it, it's JIMMY DARNED JOHNSON, I barely know anything about anyone else beside Marty, Wendy and Brenda...

I know, I've watched it since the beginning, but this time it bugged me. Maybe because I really wanted to know more about the other people.

Is it just me or do most of the older tribe look completely beat up? They look like they can barely go shopping for groceries, let alone competing on Survivor.

I'm not crazy about the Medallion of Power. I thought it was funny when Jeff revealed what it meant and they realized it was probably a better choice than fishing equipment. However, since it gets passed back and forth between the tribes - eh - we'll see how much it really plays into the game.

I didn't find anyone yet that I'm rooting for - although there are a few that are on my list for being sent home soon. The lady with the prosthetic - hardcore. But I won't be putting money on her since everyone is afraid of the sympathy vote.

I thought Jimmy Johnson played his cards well - he's right that he can't win and is strategizing just to stay in the game as long as possible.

Although I'm 29 for 2 more weeks, I'm routing for the elders. I wish that whoever is doing the "recruiting" would look at more than just someone's body and try to actually get interesting people. You can't tell me that there aren't enough 20 somethings applying for Survivor for their 15 minutes. I didn't mind it when it led to a much more diverse cast, but that doesn't seem to be the case this season. Just a lot of wannabe models.

Well I'm 37 and rooting for the elders, the younger girls are just annoying, I think the former cheerleader girls is the next parvati, I might be wrong but that was the impression I got.

The poor Wendy, she shot her self on the face when she opened her mouth. I like Jimmy and I think he can be a great leader,the other angry guy needs to calm down, he sounded crazy.

Cannot wait for next week.....
