It is a game and no-one should consider themselves invincible.

Didn't all of the members currently on the jury consider themselves invincible? You would think that at least one of them would catch on to this trend!

I believe the "rumors" are in this thread anyhow....rumor has it, according to heavy Las Vegas betting by CBS employees that the final 2 are Jenna and Matt.

I don't think I've ever seen a voted out person be so angry. And that person did themselves in with the indecisiveness.

I think this is the best Survivor yet. But the end is coming so soon!!

DH said they have too much ego and this is what happens to them! You are right though. Dena, Alex, etc. were too smug at one point or another!

Uh...yup...that's the rumor. I remember reading it somewhere in this 53 page thread, but I assumed since some people didn't know, then perhaps there were others who didn't know and didn't WANT to know...I know my DH and kids don't. I was going to post a link to the news report, but...here ya go!

If she just would of given Rob an answer about voting with him and then made the decision it would of been totally different, IMO.

I was pretty surprised with the outcome.

Remember a couple weeks ago when Matt was the one to worry and now noone even mentioned him this week. What a difference a couple of weeks makes. I bet the "tides" will turn again next week.

That final 2 would be wild. My *hunch* has been Rob would be the winner because he has had the bulk of the camera time. Just like Brian in Thailand. The whole Survivor Thailand seemed to continually return to Brian in regards to his strategy in some way shape or form. The same thing has been happening with Rob. I didn't think Brian would win, because at some point I thought the other players would catch on to him. But win he did. And I haven't thought Rob would really win because of the same reason. Although the players are catching onto him, it is part of the game --- to outplay. So who knows? It's been very coincidental the, "face time" Brian got and now Rob. Maybe it's just to throw people that look for similarities (like me) off.

In any event, the game sure has gotten interesting!

GEEEEZZZZ...isn't Rob ever oing to get "his" ?!?

I'm not disappointed by the vote tonight--never did think Christy had a fighting chance to get down to the final 2--but am beginning to wonder whether any of Rob's double-dealing will come back around to bite him.
I'm also getting way tired of Jenna. She's come out as a bit of a cold B**** and I just don't like her !

Still have a soft spot for Butch. He may fly under the radar like the winner a few Survivor's ago...
I REALLY liked this show, though--made me anxious for the next ones. Matt did a great thing; made me cry.

Except maybe for Butch I think most of them are starting to wonder who they have the best chance of winning against. And I think those people are the "stick twins" or Rob. Butch has been too far under the radar for anyone to want to go up against him in the final two. If it was me I'd want to go up against Rob, Heidi or Jenna as I figure that they have backstabbed enough people or done the least amount of work that I would have a chance to pull votes just because members of the jury wouldn't like them.

I think the rumors might be true because I think Matt has it in him both physically and mentally to win all the immunity challenges if necessary.

That was soooooo disappointing!! But it DID make sense for the one or two who turned on the one voted out. He/she would have been VERY tough competition for the final vote.

I would have to say that overall this was one of the best Survivor episodes ever. Too bad the "shocking" tribal council had to be THIS kind of shocking.

Can't we west coast or almost west coast people just agree not to read this thread when its almost time for Survivor?!

Christy was one of my favorites but honestly she deserved what she got tonight. What's with her? I thought she was smarter than that. She just got too full of herself and her power. Even sitting right there at that table with everyone else she said to her BF "I'm going to be in the final 4". Loved her final comment about the evil stepsisters!!

And what's with Heidi saying she's given up a lot for other people. HUH???

What a great episode! Except I didn't do well at all in the Fantasy league. I sure wish I had Heidi down for crying!!!

As soon as she said "I'm in the driver's seat" in front of everyone at Tribal Council I knew she was toast. I'm sure she had already been chosen though for the reason stated earlier, that no one knew how she was going to vote, and because of that she was a threat to everyone. If she had simply told Rob "yes", she would still be in the running IMHO.

You notice that Matt was not featured at all in this new alliance. Christy felt secure because the four of them spit/shook on the deal. And then she was betrayed by two of her alliance members. Its amazing how Matt still trusts Rob through everything. Its amazing how any of them still trusts him.
