Just went to the WDW link for Surrey Bike Rentals and it listed 4 sites:

Disney’s Boardwalk Inn
Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort
Disney’s Old Key West Resort
Disney’s Port Orleans Resort - Riverside

A few questions:
1. I'm assuming Wilderness Lodge was left off by mistake, but can anyone confirm that surrey bike rentals are still available there?
2. Are there any other WDW locations that are missing from this list?
3. What is the current pricing for surrey bike rentals?
4. Are surrey bikes very popular - do they often run out of them?
5. What is the maximum # of passengers allowed?
6. Can little kids ride up front?
7. Are there times and/or places when/where it gets too crowded/dangerous to ride the surrey bike through?
8. Which is the most enjoyable location to rent one?

TIA!

I don't think you'll run into crowds renting surrey bikes. We tried to ride one a few years ago at Boardwalk but ran into an issue with the ages/heights of our kids. They were probably 8 and 10 at the time and weren't tall enough to pedal. We tried to rent a 4-person but they wouldn't let us because you have to have 3 people tall enough (and strong enough) to pedal those. They offered to let us rent a 2-person and put the 8yo up front and 10yo between us, but the 8yo said no way! Fortunately my sister was joining us the next day, so we were able to rent a 4-person surrey bike. We chose POR because it's not a place we'd ever visited, and it was lovely! I will say that pedaling was more work that we expected.

I think during the construction at Wilderness Lodge there are no surrey bikes available for rent.

I don't think Wilderness Lodge was left off "by mistake." The construction has closed off a number of amenities.

They are supposed to have bike rentals at WL during the construction. The announcement we received said it would be somewhere south of the lodge. Haven't heard anything else about it though other than the letter.

Thanks for the info regarding WL construction. Any answers for some of the other questions (e.g. costs and fun locations to rent)?

Saratoga Springs offers surrey bikes.

I believe you're right! We stayed at SSR in '09 and I do remember seeing surrey bikes there. Are you certain they're still available now? Is it a nice location for renting?

Thanks for the information, especially regarding POR! If we have 4 adults and 3 little ones (4 and under), could we all fit on one?

Absolutely positive. We were there last month and wanted to rent one but didn't get around to it. They are across from the Springs bus stop.

SSR is so large and beautiful we thought it would be a delightful place to ride. There is a sign over by the Congress Park walking path to Disney Springs prohibiting taking the surrey bike any further.
