Surprising an Adult

Seriously, I don't know how you guys can stand the wait!
I mean, with kids, it's easy to deceive them (the excitement to tell them is equally bursting though, I assume ^_^ ), but it's very hard to surprise an adult, expecially a significant other/spouse!

I have a Galactic Breakfast reservation and I'm DYING to tell DH that we have it. He's so sad that we won't be there for Star Wars Weekend so I really wanted to make it special and get the breakfast. He also gave up on trying to get the breakfast cause it was so hard (little does he know ...)

Once the time gets closer, I'll be ordering a Disney Cake (on vacation) and surprise him with telling him

It's so HARD!! Now I need to figure out how to convince him to spend extra on park hopper or a 3rd day ticket lol

How do you guys handle surprises (for anyone) in regards to Disney planning?

Ah yes, that does sound a bit weird doesn't it?

April 25-May 2nd = Disney Fantasy Cruise
May 2nd (Saturday) = Debark, DCL Transport to POR, No parks, DTD - Ohana Dinner ADR
May 3rd (Sunday) = MK Day - Pre Opening CP, BOG Lunch ADR + 7Dwarves, PP & Fantasy Parade FP+

The above do not change, but from here on is where things depend on what I can convince DH to do and what our budget allows:

3rd Day Magic Your Way Tickets - Option 1
May 4th (Monday) = Epcot Day - Enjoy F&G - Pre Opening Akershus, Illuminations Tokyo Dining ADRs - Includes scheduled time in afternoon to rest at resort
May 5th (Tuesday) = Hollywood Studios - Pre Opening Galactic Breakfast ADR + Toy Story, Star Tours & Frozen FP+. Check out prior to HS, Bell Services holds luggage. Come back to POR for MDE pickup.

Park Hopper - Option 2
May 4th (Monday) = HS/Epcot - RD HS, Galactic Breakfast ADR. Hop to Epcot for F&G and Tokyo Dining Illuminations ADR
May 5th (Tuesday) = Leisure Check out, DTD, MDE

My plans are set for Option 1 since we will have a nice leisure day for May 2nd. Our MDE won't be picking us up until 2:05pm on the 5th.
I have all ADRs mentioned above and right now we have 2day tickets. My FP+ are scheduled for Option 1, May 5th.
For us, Option 1 is the best with schedule and wanting to do everything (I've been wanting to do Akershus for a long time + I'm Frozen Crazy, so the Sing Along in HS would be awesome for me! Plus DH loves Toy Story Mania/Star Wars.

However, if money is a bit tighter then I hope, then we will have to go with option 2. Park Hopper+Galactic Breakfast is cheaper then the 3day tickets.
We are also doing the Dining plan no matter what.
