So, we did the cabins last Sept (2010) and loved it. I was pregnant at the time, and now we are back for the chicklets' 1st Birthday! We rented from Camp At The Fort based on this boards recommendation, and our unit it great. Got our golf cart from Kenny. Our groceries from Garden Grocer and we are good to go.

We have already been to the Meadows Pool for a quick dip. All 3 kids are napping. Time for Mama to grab a cold one and enjoy the awesome Christmas decorations all around us :)

Oh how fun. We thought about doing that but we keep getting lucky with a military rate. So we have stayed in the cabins.

I have been watching the weather for our trip in 9 days. Looks like you are going to have great weather. We will probably get the arctic air that dips all the way to Miami when we get there!!!!

Thanks for the update.

It sounds like you are learning quickly how to maximize the Fort experience (rent the camper, off-site cart, groceries delivered).

I dub thee a Fort Expert! :cool1:

I would hardly call myself an expert!! It is definitely thanks to the fine, knowledgeable folks on this board that we have become borderline Disney obsessed!! :)

Another beautiful day today. We are taking it slow and easy this time. Made breakfast "at home" and made it to DHS by 10-ish. Walked on Rock n Roller Coaster and kids rode 2x with rider swap. Went to Indiana Jones where Dh got picked to be in the cast. Hilarious. Walked on Star Tours. Will got to do Jedi Training at the very last minute, which was a great surprise! Muppets 3-D was more fun than in the past since the kids just saw the movie. Walked on Tower of Terror, which is now my new favorite ride!!

We came back to take a swim...get some food...let the baby nap. I think we will head back to DHS later to see the Osborne Lights and maybe Fantasmic. We have never seen either one before!

So far Day 1 has cemented my opinion that this is just a great time to be here!!

Have fun!

Merry Christmas!

I really wanted to keep live updating from WDW last week, but it was just not in the cards...too much fun to be had to sit at the computer!! :goodvibes

This trip was a surprise for our Kiddos - twins age 7 and the baby age 1. We told them the night before we left when we were in the hotel in Boston.
