Chapter 13. How on earth did she fall asleep there?
After we got off the Backlot tour we made tracks back around the building to get our stroller. It was getting to be show time for LMA stunt show, but first a drink was in order. The side "bar" area by the eating establishment which name alludes me right now was right in front of us.
We walk up to place our order but the lady was busy reprimanding a few guests next to us. Why would a Disney CM ever do that you may be wondering.
Well they were of a certain south american country and the only one who had ID was the man. He ordered a beer and then gave it to the lady next to him, the CM repeatedly told him she could not drink it since she did not have ID on her. He "Acted" like he did not understand and she kept taking drinks of it...she finally got mean and said cut it out you can not drink that and i will have to have you escorted out if you continue. GOOD for her.
She understood that one.
Then he said well give me another one, she said NO, i know you will just give it to her again...she then made him pay for his drink. and turned to me...i just smiled at her in approval...good for her for standing up to them and not backing down for the rules.
I ordered us one tall drink.
In case you were wondering, yes it is possible to finish it off the drink before you get to the stroller parker for LMA stunt show.
Now onto the pictures. which is what we are here for anyway enough with the stories.
Time to test out the new camera and the fast shutter speed for some car jumps.
Parker was thrilled they added lightning mcqueen to the show.
This being our first day it was time to put the theory that we used with parker to test on Noelle...she will just crash and fall asleep when she is tired and we let her into effect.
Now during all of this, someone decided to get cozy in the noise of the show and fall asleep on momma.
lets see will a loud explosion rock the baby into our out of sleep more.
nope looks like she just cuddled up more on the shoulder and was still knocked out.
worked like a charm the whole trip, when she was really tired she just knocked out and fell asleep...no need for us to have things scheduled around nap times, some days she zonked out at lunch time others at dinner, some between the two, sometimes after dinner...she never threw a fit or cried to fall asleep...it seems to work because they are so occupied with everything around them they dont fuss over falling asleep...at least that is what worked for us.
now tell me why at home i have to be really quite and cant make a peep during nap time she will wake up but revving engines and explosions do nothing to make her flitch lol
After the show we gathered our stroller and headed to a place we have all be excited to try for the first time.
What to get well you have to get the pizza here im told.
so we did, with side salads and drinks to boot.
we got a kick out of the aliens hanging from the ceiling on the second level.
candi had been craving this bad boy ever sense i showed her a picture of one in someone trip report...we missed them at the bakery shop earlier in the day so she got one here...im going with a coffee mocca type cupcake...i dont remember the name and anyone can enlighten me on what it actually is if they know.
as we were leaving we strolled around the back streets a little and this was the first time we saw what was next to pizza planet even though we have been past it many times.
see it, the fire station and the fire hose up on the fire escape, very neat.

we wanted to make sure we had some day time shots with the hat for the photopass pics.
noelle must have been preparing in the above picture for the guy to tell us to make a funny face, or she was messing with that tooth that was trying to pop its way in, but then he said everyone make a funny face or do something.
looks like parker gets his thumbs up from candi, me i just open my mouth and throw my arms out. noelle takes after me with the mouth open tongue out approach
i asked him if he had some magic shots and he looked at me and said "do i have magic shots" like i had 4 heads and of course i do.
we had the stitch shot.
looking down and suprised.
he then told parker to look at him and act surprised.
when parker saw these at home he said "i had no idea he was in the sidewalk like that, i didnt see him daddy"
lol
then he told me to get out of the picture so i did.
and i captured these of my own.
which turned into these when he was done with them...parkers face cracks me up.
next chapter we do something else we have never done in MGM before.
? My DH... would so do that and I'd be mumbling under my breathe for him to come back... but as usual he'd get us in earlier...
the family loves those so thats where i went.
I said, "Does he sound like Sully maybe?" "Yeah, that's it!"
