SURPRISE! You have 40 days to plan for a a Orlando vacation...I mean move...

So the past few days have been filled with some sort of cold type virus that is kicking my butt, me giving notice at work, and lots of packing.

My current dilema is how much of my winter clothes to take with me.

I'm packing my clothes, and here in VA it gets COLD. Cold enough to need sweaters, sweatshirts, etc. Long sleeves and jeans in the early fall/early spring.

Also, do they sell winter-ish clothing in FL? Will I be able to find basic long sleeved tees and stuff like that, or is it more summery stuff all year? I feel like an idiot asking that, but here, we have 4 distinct seasons and 4 distinct types of clothes sold during those times of year...

I am trying to weed through my wardrobe to begin with, but now I am freaking out wondering should I really donate as much as I am, because will I be able to find long sleeved basics and stuff like that.

UGH. My DH flies out on the 5th to pick a home for us. We are deinitely leaning towards a house as opposed to an apartment, so I am excited about that. I am not going, I didn't want to fly and all, but I have too much to do at work, I'd rather have the extra paycheck from work instead of a short vacation-just in case I can't find a job in Florida-I know it's going to be hard, and if I can't trust my husband to do this right, what can I trust him to do?! We've been looking at possibilites on the internet and we are both on the same page.

Now my to-do list is looking something like this:
-PACK, PACK, PACK
-book a dvc BLT room for4th of July-excited! Or at least try to get a waitlist-I might as well right?
-Take maddie to the vet for a final check up (I love my vet and wanted him to do a final look over)
-continue to research homes and neighborhoods
-work on my homework, hopefully convince the teacher to let me take the final early
- cook my brains out and use up some of our food
-get pictures ready for my grandma
-find a library in Orlando
-find a vet in Oralndo (or possibilites to check out)
-get my car worked on, its a long drive to FL
-book hotel rooms for our return home in December (christmas)
-Get my hair cut
-Buy pre-season tickets to the KC cheifs vs. Tampa game in Tampa

Well I'd better get back to packing, hopefully I stay in a slightly excited mindset, its starting to set in that I am really moving and its freaking me out!

I have a whole list of places and things I want to do when we get there.... I will work on that in my next post. Hopefully I have some readers :goodvibes
