Surprise trip...never been! Please help!

We consider ourselves Disney experts, but have no clue about Universal. Can you give me a basic game plan? We have 4 day park passes and are staying off site a couple of miles from the park. The kids are 13 and 8. This is a last minute decision. We are going next week. Where to begin??!!

Go early and pack your patience are the big ones I have. As you probably know, it is the busiest week of the year for both Disney and Uni. Many many more tips abound on these threads....

It's rough coming down during Holiday Hell Week but you can still have a good time. Just get there early and be patient...as Mesaboy stated. There will be long lines for everything...restaurants, attractions, shops and even bathrooms. Just try to make the best of the situation. You might want to concentrate on the Studios since IOA will be beyond jammed with WWoHP goers.

The Studios side seems to be pretty dead for the first few hours in the morning these past few days...

Definitely go to WWoHP at night! It's really nice looking and we enjoyed just looking in windows and watching the crowds.
