OK, I am getting so excited I can hardly stand it. I started planning this trip 9 months ago, and I have not told a sole (except my hubby-lol). I made the ADRs, made reservations at POP and bought the air fare last week for this May trip. Generally I am not good at keeping secrets, so I am amazed that I have not spilled the beans long before now...but the longer I keep the secret...the more I want to think of a really neat way to surprise my daughter. We are going on just a mom-daughter trip to celebrate her 10th b-day and she has NO clue (and neither do her older siblings who are not going, they have gotten to go on trips before, that my youngest did not get to go on, and honestly they will understand). Thus, any tips, tricks or advice on how to surprise your child with the trip?? We will fly out late (like 6 pm) after school so she will not miss much class time, but I am puzzled on a creative, fun way to tell her :)
Thanks!

I've always wanted to surprise my kids and never have. It's a running joke around my house that I'm such a planner I could never do it. Maybe one day. Anyway, check out Youtube. Just type in Surprise Disney Trips (there are so many video's).I don't even want to think about how many hours I spent at the computer with tears in my eyes from the pure excitement of the kids. Lots of ideas you might want to try. Good luck.

I am planning to do a scavenger hunt with my kids the night before we are leaving with clues that will lead up to the big surprise!
