Surprise Trip Help Needed

We have a surprise trip planned for our DS11 for Dec. 3-7. After tossing around MANY ideas on how to reveal it, I think we are going to have a Chinese dinner and have some fortunes "planted" in our fortune cookies. I need 3 messages, and I'm thinking of saying "A magical trip awaits you"; "What will you celebrate?" and "A dream is a wish your heart makes"

Any other ideas are welcome. I'm sure he will then be wondering what's going on, but we hope to not say anything else that night.

The next morning, I want to have a box on the doorstep with his name on it (I read about this on the DIS) and have a helium Mickey balloon inside that will float up when he opens it.

My question to all of you crafty people is what can I have attached to the bottom of the balloon to officially "announce" the trip? Can any one design something special? If it helps, we will be staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge the nights of Dec. 3-6 leaving the 7th. Also, his name is Maddox. I would truly appreciate any ideas or help that you can offer. Thanks so much!

I just put the finishing touches on my DD's Sweet 16 cruise with her BF. I put together a scavenger hunt to do at the hotel we are staying at the night before our cruise. They think we are going to WDW for a week before school starts so they can get a tan.

Anyway....I found gold envelopes at Staples (not too expensive) and the invitation for the hunt and the clues look professionally done. I am very proud of myself for the work I put into them.

I would attach the note inside a gold envelope with the words You're invited or A Surprise is waiting for you, Open Me, something along those words. Hope this helps.

Bababear 50- What a treat...I just checked in and I love what you designed!!! I'm so excited...I want to use all three. One thing, do you mind adding the r in surprise? I only know that it is misspelled b/c I had to look it up when I posted my Thread. Also, what do I do now? I'm not sure how to save/print this. Do I just right click on it & save to my documents? Sorry to sound like a dope, but I'm new to all of this and don't want to mess it up. Thanks a million!

Great designs!!! Yes, to save the designs, right click and I save them to "my pictures"...that way when I go to print, I can do any adjusting there This will be "picture time" for Maddox

Got it! I'm thrilled and ever so thankful. My DH and I think we are going to go with the 3rd one that has the fortune cookie in the background. This will definitely be a photo moment. The question is how will we explain why we are taking pictures of us eating Chinese take-out and/or opening a package! Hmmm...I've got 6 months to come up with a good lie.
