Make sure to get him a birthday button (free) at City Hall, Chamber of Commerce, most stores, some CMs, on site front desks, etc. Have him wear it where everyone can see it. He'll get lots of birthday wishes throughout his special day. You can order him a custom cake to be delivered to any TS restaurant. Call Disney Dining to ask about this. There is a cake thread on this forum with recent info and photos. A search should bring it up. He might want to do Jedi Training, since it will be the last time he'll be eligible. Maybe a character meal with lots of photos? (Again, have him wear his button!) He might enjoy the WOC Dessert Party. That package comes with actual seats and a light up cup for kids (pretty cool -- it lights up with the show). Maybe a meal at Rainforest Cafe or ESPN Zone (especially with the arcade games upstairs)? Or maybe a meal at Blue Bayou? The menu isn't exactly kid food, but who doesn't want to eat inside POTC? Get a waterside table so he can watch the boats go by. Give him a list and let him choose 12 things to do at DLR. Then make sure to do them! Ice cream for lunch? Well, okay! Ride his favorite ride so many times in a row? Okay! You can get him birthday ears so that he'll always remember celebrating his 12th birthday at DLR. Have a fun time planning!
