Surprise! It’s a Do Over! Military Style August 8-18th (Update 1/31 Pg7 H-wood Day3)

"nobody cried or punched anybody" :lmao: you have boys don't you?
that is SO my house too! ya know, I love my boys but they really are the oddest creatures sometimes...:rotfl2:

Yes! I have 3- DS15, DS12 & DS10. We're lucky that they usually get along really well. But when they don't...:scared1:. It is good to be queen, though. Boys really do love their moms.

Ok- on to read the update-

A non-stop that stopped twice? HUH?????? Glad I'm not on THAT plane!!!:sad2:

I see the kahlua is ready for your breakfast on top of the fridge there- :thumbsup2 :rotfl:

Excellent update Drea! A non stop really shoud be non stop. I can't believe they did that to you! I agree with E except whoever thought that up should be pushed out! Call it what it is- a layover!
Can't wait to hear more!:surfweb:

Exactly... just another way to lour customers in on wrong info.

Oh so is he from TX? (That would explain the Cowboys hat....):rolleyes1
(hee hee don't show him that!)
The non stop (not like our flight LOL) wearig of the hat didnt give it away. lol I swear at times I thought he hot glued it in place

LMAO That's what I say when people ask me if I have been to NYC...just in & out of La Guardia. I got to see the big apple Welcome to NY sign. The WTC , Empire & Statue of Liberty...is there any more to see??? ;)
Well then Ive been to TONS of places, Colorado, Arizona etc LOL

Thanks for that, we are staying at Pop next month for the first time so if I don't like where we end up I'll just ask them like you did! :)
I "requested" a preffered room at CSR even though we didn't pay for preffered (when I faxed in my request) and what do you know we did got one (water view too!) for the standard price. Standard FR price. Sweet. So I will try it again! ;P
I think being very nice and doing the OH DARN shucks all mighty we were really hoping for bla bla bla.. helped.. it was the icing maybe to push the CM in the right direction lol

:( That stinks. At least you had enough room in your one fridge for about 1/4 of you r beer! ;)
The most important thing!

LMAO when I did payroll I had a dot matrix printer. In 2002.
HA my 1st computer worked on the DOS system and had a dot printer too.. granted that was in 1993 but still lol

Love it. Ron said to me are you really doing a spreadsheet and a touring plan for a weekend trip? Seriously???? Men! :)
they just dont get it do they?

Great job so far, tell me if there is anything else I should know about Pop (we are used to the creepy crawlies, we actually had an encounter on the 2nd floor of CSR BTW))...LOL
GET the TIE DYE cheesecake.. YUMMY. Oh and make sure you walk the years behind the hotel near the lake and do the whole obligitory pic with your birth year :)

Great start, loved reading all about your planning. Can't wait to hear about your first day in the parks. :thumbsup2
thank ya. its a fun day of 1st alright.

Can't wait for more!
Thanks, As soon as P finishes his indian report this week ill have more computer time. Told E were on the look out for a laptop now, since the boys are getting old and using the computer more.. I dont like sharing LOL.

A non-stop that stopped twice? HUH?????? Glad I'm not on THAT plane!!!:sad2:
I spoke my 5¢ worth to a flight attendent and she said I know I hate that they classify it like this, we are the ones that have to deal with the backlash.

I see the kahlua is ready for your breakfast on top of the fridge there- :thumbsup2 :rotfl:
:thumbsup2 Heck ya! only way to start off a vacation.

Hi Drea! By the time you came back, I was leavin' - I'm hanging out in Boise for awhile - now to catch up, I'll be back!

Okay, I'm back! Great start. I love the non-reaction of your boys!:lmao: Mine would have done the same thing! Boys are so funny. Good mojo for your location and the fridge being there! Looks like you needed more room for beer!:goodvibes

Hurray For Hollywood, & 1st time on a Roller Coaster

Mickey and Stich woke me up right at 8am. I hoped into the shower and started getting ready. Eventually E got up and also got ready. I had brought single serving cups of cereal and figured the boys would have that while I had a bagel with my coffee. Well of course they wanted the bagels but I was able to talk them into some cereal which was quick and easy to make while I finished getting ready. Once we were all fed I sent the boys down the hall to fill up the camelback with ice. I made another cup of coffee with Kalua.

This is the view we had every morning from our building
IMG_5375.jpg

We checked to make sure we had everything and then off we went to catch a bus to Hollywood.
IMG_5376.jpg

Just as we were walking in they started the High School Musical Parade
IMG_5378.jpg

Once there I couldn’t find any picture pass people at 1st, which pissed me off.
IMG_5381.jpg

But we headed towards Tower of Terror and found a few there. Line was over an hour + long so we grabbed fast passes and went in line for Aerosmiths Roller coaster. Wait was only 35mins so not bad and it moved fast. This was to be P and J’s 1st roller coast with a upside down loop.

I was afraid they would hate it well more P he’s my frady cat.
IMG_5383.jpg

But as we got off they stated “THAT ROCKED” thumbs up were given and I again was looking for that photopass person to take a pic of them in front of the huge guitar to commemorate the occasion. But none were to be found. So I took one.

A Pressed Penny to remember it by
IMG_5385.jpg

We thought they would let us in early for our fast pass since we were so close and only had 10mins to wait on them but no go. I got this bright idea that since we have to wait I would go run and grab fastpass’s for Toy Story as our time would be up by the time I got there ya know…. P decided to come with me and off we went… well 5mins later after high speed walking in the August heat we get to Toy Story sweating we find out…. All fast passes are for 750pm which is when we have our ADR for 50’s dinner. Plus we figured out P and I only had our tix. We didn’t grab E and J’s so even if they were available at a time we needed those 2 would have been out of luck LOL. Back to ToT we go.

The boys couldn’t wait to do this one since they just rode the last coaster and thought it was awesome. Since it’s a bit creepy going into it they clung on to us.
IMG_5387.jpg

Once in the Elevator they are freaked out.
IMG_5391.jpg

They are bolted to us, heads in our laps.
IMG_5390.jpg

Somehow they were fine with a roller coaster that went upside down. But the sudden drops of ToT they hated.
So much so that they started crying.
IMG_5388.jpg

We had a few others on our elevator that were younger and smaller then the boys and were fine with it… ours were big babies lol.
IMG_5395.jpg

Suffice to say we were then told we were the worst parents ever for taking them on that ride. Lol
IMG_5397.jpg

We walked around after that and saw the Green Army guys from Toy Story walking around all I could think about was omg those suits and that face paint has to be HOT. Poor guys. J joined right in to be a solider (which btw E did not like LOL) P went but he was acting like a pain in the rear. I finally yelled at him to just get out of the area cuz he was ruining it for the others. No one forced you to go up there lil boy.

Left Right Left right Left
IMG_5399.jpg

Next was Star Tours which the boys gave 5*’s.
IMG_5404.jpg

We walked out just as they were finishing the Jedi training. The boys really wanted to do this so we found out the next showing was in about an hour. Since we didn’t want to go to far and miss the next training we decided to grab some chow.

We were right next to the Backstage counter service restaurant. We got the in line and figured out what the boys wanted them sent them on their way to find a table (this was the routine they learned to follow each day too!) E got a cheeseburger; J had chicken nuggets, P a sloppy Joe, and myself a Turkey Samich. Once we got our food, E took the tray and I took the drinks to fill up. Well since no one came back to help me with 4drinks I had to figure out how to carry them all at once. Somehow I ended up spilling ice tea on my shirt. I should know better than to ever wear white, I can never keep it clean. Oh well it did keep me cool LOL. Boys had choc chip cookies, which they said were not so great. I got the cheesecake and it was great.

Yet never met a cheesecake I haven’t liked yet.
IMG_5408.jpg

It was just about time for them to do Jedi training so off we went. They stood in the area and we found very little shade to keep cool in. Once the Jedi was out and picked his trainees… and P and J had not been picked they came up to us and said let’s go. They didn’t even want to watch the show since they were not up there.. Spoil sports LOL.

IMG_5409.jpg

So off to the Muppet show we went. I love this show at Cali Adventure. Plus I grew up on the Muppets. It was nice to cool off again inside and relax.
IMG_5411.jpg

Took Pics with Lightning Queen, and Nator
IMG_5413.jpg

After the show we got in line for the Studio Backlot tour. The line was short and moved fast to get on the tour bus. When we got to the area where they film the water coming down the hill towards the truck our car started taking on water.
IMG_5429.jpg

We all were wet on the backside.
IMG_5433.jpg

Now the boys had pants that you couldn’t see.. BUT me.. oh… this is what I was left to look like. OH well just another way to stay cool I guess. It did dry quickly with the heat, but still for a while the boys kept teasing me about peeing my pants lol.

**Continued Next Post**

**Continued from previous**

After the tour we stopped at a gift show area as the boys gift cars were burning a hole in there lanyards. P bought about 5 Disney cars, which used up his whole $25 gift card from my mom. J got one lil car and still had half his card left to use. (smart boy) none of us wanted to carry that bag of crud around so we had them take it to the front to hold for us to pick up on our way out. After this we were just in time for the Lights, Motor, Action Show. Boys being the boys they are LOVED this show.
IMG_5440.jpg

I don’t believe I have heard AWESOME more time in my life, than during and after this show. (Apparently now Im a good parent as apposed to earlier after the Tot LOL)
IMG_5438.jpg

E saw it was time for Indian Jones so off we went to grab a seat for it. (Which btw did I hear that someone from that show died since we went?) I believe we all had more fun during the pre show when they picked people from the audience then during the show it self. They picked people and asked them where they are from. When we heard Cali and Texas the 4 of us screamed each time (since were from Cali, and E is originally from Texas LOL) People must have thought we didn’t know which state we were from LOL.

After the show J stated he wanted to do Toy Story so we thought we walked over to check it out. Fastpass’s by this time were gone and the line was aprox an hour and half long. Too long to wait imo for any ride with or without kids. We checked out Narnia in the mean time and it was while we were in line P realized he lost the receipt for his toys. The tears start flowing and E starts yelling…. Told him he needed to be more responsible oh well guess your shucks out of luck. After some tears and telling us it was our fault (I believe I was then the bad parent again) we were let into the Narnia show…. Which is basically just a trailer of the movie. Anyone disagree. Here I thought it was something, I don’t know different. 30mins of my life I can never get back were wasted in there.

Then we walked “one Man’s Dream”. I loved learning all about Walt. The boys of course thought it was BORRRINNNGGG. I told them to sit with all the other kids in the corner that thought it was boring too as this was also my vacation and I was going to enjoy something too.

UMMM what is this and why is it in Walt’s Dream????
IMG_5461.jpg

Some Pics along the way (photopass cd’s are on their way)

Apparently he thinks he a Captain Morgan ad
IMG_5454.jpg

IMG_5455.jpg

Doesn’t he look thrilled to take a pic
IMG_5463.jpg

No clue what he’s doing … someone robbing him?
IMG_5458.jpg

By now it was just time to head over to the 50’s dinner for our ADR.
IMG_5467.jpg

We were about 10mins early (which is very odd for us as we are always running late, what can I say I run on Mexican time LOL) Since we had to wait I got the boys glowing Shirley Temples.
IMG_5470.jpg

E had passed out in a chair so I got myself a glowing Dad’s Lemonade. It was past his nap time
IMG_5469.jpg

Don’t mind my double chin
IMG_5473.jpg

Eventually they called our name. We were taken to our table and we were greeted by our “Sister” Sarah. She was adorable btw.

P got the Hot Dog,
IMG_5483.jpg

J Nuggets again.
IMG_5480.jpg

E had the steak,
IMG_5481.jpg

and I had the Pot Roast. YUMMO.
IMG_5482.jpg

We had the best time in there as E didn’t finish his vegetables so our “sister” asked what his name was and then yelled out ‘ATTENTION EVERYONE, ELBERT” to which he cut her off and said ‘OK OK OK’ and she hand fed him a big heaping spoonful of veggies.

Open wide for the airplane
IMG_5486.jpg

We all cracked up along with about 3 other tables that had caught it. I wish I could do that at home with him and the boys to get them to clean their plates. We then were able to order dessert.

Whats a viewfinder? Seriously they asked it…
IMG_5485.jpg

The boys got the make your own Sunday’s. Look at that creation
IMG_5494.jpg

E got the Brownie Sunday and I got the Smore’s.
IMG_5492.jpg

J ended up sharing the Smore’s with me as they were great.
IMG_5491.jpg

Once we were stuffed we decided to call it a day and head home to the Pop.

Look theres the Captain again.
IMG_5499.jpg

We found some photopass peeps on the way out and we got a few pics. P and E went to see if he was able to get his toys he bought with just our id’s, we told him don’t be surprised if someone found the receipt and cashed in on it just incase it happened. BUT he was lucky, they had the package. J found some light up type of toy on the way out but unfortunately they only took cash which we had none of. Just gift cards and our room key. So we told him we would be back in 2days to remember to bring the money that my grandma (their great grandma) had given them to buy it.

Got in line for the bus, of which we were packed like sardines standing room only but it was ok, they had a/c and our driver was a crack up. Told jokes all the way back to the POP. We stopped at the Everything POP store to get fingernail clippers cuz we forgot them and P was looking like a girl since he didn’t cut them as we told him to prior to us leaving (ugg BOYS LOL) I didn’t have to pay an arm or a leg for them either about $2 not bad. I found a Pressed Penny Holder and got that also, as the boys are into doing that and everywhere we go they get one (cheap souvenirs). We WERE going to go swimming BUT found that they had to call everyone out of the pool cuz of an UFO (Unidentified Floating Object) oh no... its the cruise all over. Figured that was the sign that we should just call it a night and relax back in the room. We all changed into our jammies, set the wake up call for 8am and watched a lil tv before heading into Dreamland (which is the 5th park in WDW if you didn’t know lol)

Yay! I'm first to welcome you back! Looks like a great day at DHS! Sorry the boys didn't enjoy TOT, and that you didn't get to ride TSM. Oh, and I love your view! :rotfl2:

Yay, an update! Sounds like a fun day in the Studios. And I now understand your addiction to Farmville. I just started playing and I'm hooked! :)

UMMM what is this and why is it in Walt’s Dream????
IMG_5461.jpg

That just ain't right. :sad2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

What IS that thing? A naked fat guy playing with pigs??? SERIOUSLY????

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Glad you liked 50"s PT, we're going there on our next trip- our kids have never been, so I'm pretty excited for it. And I hope you got on TSM later in your trip-

Woo-eeeee! 'S about time, girlfriend! Sounds like you all had a great day!!

We went on RnRC for the first time on our last trip too...loved it!

Sorry bout your butt & your shirt. I'm the same way. I just told Ron, sorry I am dipping into the cruise clothes to have something new to wear this weekend and he was like....seriously? For F&W...? You KNOW you are going to spill something on yourself, right? LMAO. So I'll probably wear black! ;)

Worst parents in the world, eh? Well, you're not alone. B&S LOVED...I mean LOVED ToT the first couple of times they rode it..then last time I made the mistake of showing them the youtube video to remind them, thinking- hey, they loved it so much. Heh. Ron did get them both on, but Savannah spazzed out afterward and then when it was my turn on the child swap I took just Brendan and then in the boiler room HE freaked out...I was like..hello you just rode this 5 mins ago..?!?!? Needless to say he took the chicken exit and I had to ride alone. The funniest part is if you take the chicken exit, you have to ride an elevator to get out of the boiler room....

E is a trip..and I love the open wide for the airplane! That is hilarious!

I am not even going to comment on the naked pig man. :rotfl:

I'm glad the boys got their toys. And the budget is blown, of course! Awesome job, keep it coming, please! :goodvibes
