*So since you all had to wait so long. Im putting up a whole date, not just segments. At this rate if I do this for he 10days I should have the report done in a yr LMAO*
Hurray For Hollywood, & 1st time on a Roller Coaster
Mickey and Stich woke me up right at 8am. I hoped into the shower and started getting ready. Eventually E got up and also got ready. I had brought single serving cups of cereal and figured the boys would have that while I had a bagel with my coffee. Well of course they wanted the bagels but I was able to talk them into some cereal which was quick and easy to make while I finished getting ready. Once we were all fed I sent the boys down the hall to fill up the camelback with ice. I made another cup of coffee with Kalua.
This is the view we had every morning from our building
We checked to make sure we had everything and then off we went to catch a bus to Hollywood.
Just as we were walking in they started the High School Musical Parade
Once there I couldnt find any picture pass people at 1st, which pissed me off.
But we headed towards Tower of Terror and found a few there. Line was over an hour + long so we grabbed fast passes and went in line for Aerosmiths Roller coaster. Wait was only 35mins so not bad and it moved fast. This was to be P and Js 1st roller coast with a upside down loop.
I was afraid they would hate it well more P hes my frady cat.
But as we got off they stated THAT ROCKED thumbs up were given and I again was looking for that photopass person to take a pic of them in front of the huge guitar to commemorate the occasion. But none were to be found. So I took one.
A Pressed Penny to remember it by
We thought they would let us in early for our fast pass since we were so close and only had 10mins to wait on them but no go. I got this bright idea that since we have to wait I would go run and grab fastpasss for Toy Story as our time would be up by the time I got there ya know
. P decided to come with me and off we went
well 5mins later after high speed walking in the August heat we get to Toy Story sweating we find out
. All fast passes are for 750pm which is when we have our ADR for 50s dinner. Plus we figured out P and I only had our tix. We didnt grab E and Js so even if they were available at a time we needed those 2 would have been out of luck LOL. Back to ToT we go.
The boys couldnt wait to do this one since they just rode the last coaster and thought it was awesome. Since its a bit creepy going into it they clung on to us.
Once in the Elevator they are freaked out.
They are bolted to us, heads in our laps.
Somehow they were fine with a roller coaster that went upside down. But the sudden drops of ToT they hated.
So much so that they started crying.
We had a few others on our elevator that were younger and smaller then the boys and were fine with it
ours were big babies lol.
Suffice to say we were then told we were the worst parents ever for taking them on that ride. Lol
We walked around after that and saw the Green Army guys from Toy Story walking around all I could think about was omg those suits and that face paint has to be HOT. Poor guys. J joined right in to be a solider (which btw E did not like LOL) P went but he was acting like a pain in the rear. I finally yelled at him to just get out of the area cuz he was ruining it for the others. No one forced you to go up there lil boy.
Left Right Left right Left
Next was Star Tours which the boys gave 5*s.
We walked out just as they were finishing the Jedi training. The boys really wanted to do this so we found out the next showing was in about an hour. Since we didnt want to go to far and miss the next training we decided to grab some chow.
We were right next to the Backstage counter service restaurant. We got the in line and figured out what the boys wanted them sent them on their way to find a table (this was the routine they learned to follow each day too!) E got a cheeseburger; J had chicken nuggets, P a sloppy Joe, and myself a Turkey Samich. Once we got our food, E took the tray and I took the drinks to fill up. Well since no one came back to help me with 4drinks I had to figure out how to carry them all at once. Somehow I ended up spilling ice tea on my shirt. I should know better than to ever wear white, I can never keep it clean. Oh well it did keep me cool LOL. Boys had choc chip cookies, which they said were not so great. I got the cheesecake and it was great.
Yet never met a cheesecake I havent liked yet.
It was just about time for them to do Jedi training so off we went. They stood in the area and we found very little shade to keep cool in. Once the Jedi was out and picked his trainees
and P and J had not been picked they came up to us and said lets go. They didnt even want to watch the show since they were not up there.. Spoil sports LOL.
So off to the Muppet show we went. I love this show at Cali Adventure. Plus I grew up on the Muppets. It was nice to cool off again inside and relax.
Took Pics with Lightning Queen, and Nator
After the show we got in line for the Studio Backlot tour. The line was short and moved fast to get on the tour bus. When we got to the area where they film the water coming down the hill towards the truck our car started taking on water.
We all were wet on the backside.
Now the boys had pants that you couldnt see.. BUT me.. oh
this is what I was left to look like. OH well just another way to stay cool I guess. It did dry quickly with the heat, but still for a while the boys kept teasing me about peeing my pants lol.
