My in-laws just gave us a week at a local Orlando time share in June! The are no longer out-laws in book (ha!ha!). :worship:

How can we come spend some time at the Fort looking around? We are set to come back in November to stay at the Fort but we would love to get a sneak peak and maybe canoe or rent bikes and ride. Can we drive in and park in the front lot and ride a bus back or should we take a launch from MK?

I'd say you can.

Come in June, drop some dough, look around and scout out some sites/loops or activities for the November visit, and enjoy it.

When you come in tell the guard you are coming to eat at Trail's End :confused3.

How long you stay is up to you.

I'd say the in-laws LIKE you now. :cool1:

This again brings up the security question. If you are not staying at a WDW resort, or have a park pass, should you be able to just drive up and enter any resort ? Recently there was a thread that talked about non guests in the fort pool doing this same thing .

I know when we go to the AKL or WL to eat we have free roam of the resort and we aren't staying there. When we came many years ago to the HDDR we had free reign to roam, but didn't because it wasn't convenient. Is there much of a difference at the Fort than any other resort? We roam the GF when doing Victoria and Alberts. I know we all feel a little exposed because we typically have to leave stuff outside. As someone with a PUP we leave several things outside, but lock valuables in the TV. Camping is always a calculated risk.!

Bama_Ed, I think they do like me!
