Hi!
I need a little help with what to put into the baskets I'm making for my children and my parents. We're on the dining plan so we really won't need any snacks for the baskets. This will be the first trip my parents have taken to WDW since 1972! My children are 10boy and 12girl. This is what I have so far:
For my parents:
A laminated Itenerary
A minnie toy riding in a red scooter (I'm renting a red ECV for my Mom)
A Misty Mate for Mom and one for Dad
A poncho each
A Homemade Mickey tyedye shirt each
A travel size hand sanitizer
For the kids
A mist mate each
A poncho each
Glow necklaces from the Dollar Store
A Homemade Mickey Tye Dye shirt each
Pirates shirt and Pirate hat for MNSSHP each
Lanyards and pins for trading
Goggles for the pool

Am I missing anything that would be good for them to have? I'd like to make this a magical memorable vacation for all 3 generations! Maybe I should put a basket together for DH too......

I would include autograph books for the kids.....I thought my youngest would be the most "in" to autographs, but it turned out my oldest (10) was the one who loved that the most.

How about autograph books?

We just got back from WDW with my DD12 & DS9....we go quite often & they still enjoy getting character autographs.

How about a disposable camera for each?
Waterproof maybe for the kids or just disposables?
Walgreens has mickey and pooh ones!
Maybe a Disney trivia or hidden mickey book for mom and dad?
Have a magical trip!~:goodvibes :goodvibes princess: :woohoo:

Mickey cameras! Cool!! I'll have to stop by Walgreens tomorrow after work! :cool1:

I love the hand made tye die shirts -- that's great!! Post pics of your T's! Here are some more basket ideas, for kids and grown ups at your discretion:

* disney baseball cap (Disney store)
* sunglasses
* chapstick/sunscreen
* photo album
* mini m&m tube filled w/sets of 2 quarters and 1 penny to collect pressed pennies from ALL OVER WDW. They are fun to watch being made and collect favorite characters, and look for everywhere you go.
* Disney wallet filled w/Disney dollars
* fanny packs or cinch sacks so they can carry their own stuff to the parks (maybe you can use them as the "baskets")
* don't forget the pirate eye patches!!!

Have a great trip!

how about some new Disney pj's, and new Disney toothbrushes?
Disney coloring books and playing cards. I got some POTC playing cards at Walmart for $1.72!
Disney notebook to scribble in with a new Disney pen is always fun.

Disposable cameras are always the highlight of any trip for my kids.

Also, I got them little Halloween flashlights with a lanyard from Oriental Trading for the dark rides. My 3 yr old loved his..when a ride got "scawee" he turned on his little 4 inch flashlight, made him feel much better.
It doesn't give off much light so it didn't disturb our boatmates on POTC.
