Surfing lessons on Waikki beach - make reservations or just show up

Do must just show up because there are so many or should we make reservations?

many times you can just show up and get something later in the day or the next day. And there are a quite a few , so if one doesn't have something, another company might. All depends. Often when I'm renting a paddle board or something I"ll hear people signing up that day. If you have a very specific day, time or company, you're looking for, make a reservation.

I also wondered about this and if you would recommend Waikiki on a Friday or Saturday? Didn't know if one day was less busy than the other. Figured traffic from Aulani may be better on the weekend.
