Sure, we'll wait 7 hours! As long as we get to WDW! July 14-22 Trip Report*NEW 3/18*

SPECIAL BULLETIN

Sorry to interrupt our regularly, or irregularly, updated Trip Report to bring you a special message from the Miller sisters!

If you haven't noticed the new ticker below, we are headed back to WDW! YESSS! It's a sister trip that we will never forget! We are headed down on Dec. 18, and will be returning Dec. 22. We are staying at POP! since this is a trip on a college girls budget! We are not getting the park hopper, but instead a 3 day base ticket, as well as tickets to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party! So, we are going to be at the party Sunday night, MGM, Epcot, and finally Magic Kingdom. On our last day, our flight is late, so we will have time to go to DTD and eat at Earl <3 We are very excited, if you can't imagine! So, my goal is to have this TR done before then! YAY! Anyway, if you have been there around Christmas, any advice would be great!
xoxox

We now return you to a new update on the current trip report! :lmao:

Uh oh...water damage!

MGM day! Yes I know its called Disney’s Hollywood Studios now, but I just can’t get used to that. It doesn’t sound right so I don’t say it. Haha

Nevertheless, we were all really excited for our first trip there! We set our alarms for 7 o’clock. We weren’t too concerned about making rope drop but we did was to get those fastpasses for Toy Story Mania so we couldn’t be too late! We got ready, ate our peanut butter bagels and boarded a bus around 8:15!

We arrived just around 9 and headed straight to Toy Story. The fast pass line was crazy! Kind of ironic eh?! I should have taken a picture! :( sorry! Kayla waited and got the goods for 11:37 to 12:37. Not bad at all!

We headed to Rock n’ Roller Coaster which is a family favorite! It’s a great roller coaster with awesome music..anytime I hear “Walk this Way” I feel like I’m waiting it line! My mom has vertigo so she couldn’t ride with us but she held our stuff while we waited in line! The wait was about 40 minutes, but it didn’t feel to long and we all had a really great time!
DSC06380-1.jpg

Kayla posing..i don't know where i was for this! haha

We walked quickly over to the Tower of Terror that had a short 20-minute wait! I guess everyone was still waiting at Toy Story! My mom sat out once again and we began our journey to the Twilight Zone. Haha! This was a really good one too and we had a ton of fun!
DSC06382-1.jpg

the kiddos!

DSC06383-1.jpg

all the riders!

I should probably warn you guys that my dad is a total Star Wars nerd so of courseee we had to make sure we rode the new Star Tours ride! He was like a kid in a candy store! The line was pretty long, about 20 minutes, but it moved pretty quickly. We were stuck between two HUGE tour groups so a cast member pulled us into the fastpass line! How lovely! Thank you nice cast member! The ride was pretty cool! A lot better then the old version and my dad had a great time!

We headed over to the backlot area to see the New York and San Francisco areas! I really think it is so cool back there! We grabbed a few shots with those!

DSC06386-1.jpg

Momma with the singin in the rain umbrella. How cute is she?!

San Fran!

DSC06397-1.jpg

New York, New York!

We got our traditional stoop picture! The first year we went down with our band we got this really awesome picture on one of the stoops like Hey Arnold if you remember that show. All of our friends do it with whomever they go down with now and it’s turned into a really cool way to stay in touch! Here's a few!

Our first trip with our friends! March 2008 :)

Second band trip! March 2010

DSC06392-1.jpg

This past year! Its a better effect with alot of people..hah :)

After our photo op it was around 11:30 and we decided to grab some lunch before Toy Story Mania! We needed fuel! We passed Starring Rolls and Kayla and I just had to take a peek! Our dream is to open a cupcake store so we needed to see these infamous cupcakes!

We saw that they had sandwiches and you could use a quick service meal and get a cupcake as your dessert! Was this even a question?!?! My mom, Kayla, and I decided to stay and try it out while the guys went to ABC Commissionary.

All three of us got the Turkey Focaccia sandwich with a piece of fresh fruit, a drink, and a cupcake! I got the Butterfinger cupcake! I cannot tell you how long ive been waiting to try this sucker. Kayla got the Red Velvet cupcake and my mom just went with tiramisu.

DSCN3976.jpg

This is the sandwich! Really good! (i don't understand why this picture won't shrink! :confused3)

There isn’t much seating around Starring Rolls so we went over to Hollywood Brown Derby’s patio. I set my phone down on a table and then my tray and went to get some napkins. The sandwich was huge! and actually pretty tasty! It was really fresh and seemed healthy which we all really enjoyed! It was a great change up from the normal burger and fries.

We decided to pack up shop and head to where the boys were so they could try our cupcakes! When we went to clean up we noticed that the table was pretty wet! Apparently the table had turned into an ocean during the storm the night before! :( I picked up my phone and it wouldn’t turn on! Wonderful. I swear I was having the worst luck so far. My mom told me not to panic and we went to the Commisinary to find the guys.

They already had their food at a table! Jon got the chicken sandwich with fries and chocolate mousse for dessert and he said it was really good! My dad just went with the cheeseburger and fries and the strawberry parfait. He said it was nothing special but still hit the spot.

DSCN3986-1.jpg

Jon chicken and dessert!

DSCN3983-1.jpg

Obvs daddy was hungry. haha! half of his burger!

DSCN3984-1.jpg

his dessert!

We also ate our cupcakes, which were HEAVENLY! :cloud9: Seriously so amazing. The crunch coating on the top on that Butterfinger cupcake is so delicious! While it’s a little ridiculous in size, it was worth the try because I enjoyed it a lot! The red velvet was also awesome! It was a little dry, but the icing was perfect! Not too sweet, but oh so good! I would definitely recommend these if you haven’t tried them already!

DSCN3978-1.jpg

Butterfinger!

DSCN3977-1.jpg

Red Velvet!

DSCN3982-1.jpg

Red Velvet in half! Yummyyy!

So my mom tried to fix my phone…it worked for a minute and the shut off again. Wah :( I was determined not to let it get me down though and I’m really proud of myself for the way I handled the situation. I didn’t freak out like most teenagers would. I just decided that I was in the happiest place on earth and darn it it’s going to be happy! Haha.

We decided to hit up Toy Story Mania in order to take my mind off my phone for a little while! The fastpasses are amazing, but I’m sad we weren’t able to get a picture with Mr. Potato Head. That’s the only downfall. I love this ride! I rode with my mom and we were horrible, but it’s always a good laugh! And the theme is adorable! Just sayin.

DSC06404-1.jpg

funny faces with the 3D glasses!

We decided to go try and see if guest services could get rice to put my phone into and they were super nice about it! Only one lady there knew what we were even talking about! Everyone else just thought we were weird, but apparently it helps and it was worth a shot. She got some rice from Hollywood and Vine and even offered to keep it there for the rest of the day. So sweet!

Stay tuned for the rest of the day and our happy character findings! :)

Continued in next post!

How exciting that you're heading back in December!!! :cool1: I'll be there just about the same time, Dec 17th - Dec 20th. It's going to be just me and my mom on a grad student's budget, since I'm paying. So, like you no parkhoppers. Also, like you we're staying at POP and going to the Christmas party on Sunday. :rotfl: So many similarities....

It's our first time going for Christmas too! Can't wait, just over two months left. :goodvibes

On to the update...

"Stoop kid's gonna leave his stoop!" :lmao: I love all of the stoop pictures, but you're right, the effect is a bit better with more people.

Those cupcakes look delicious! :lovestruc I can't decide which looks better, the red velvet or the butterfinger.

Sorry about your phone no working, but I have heard of the rice thing. Glad someone in Disney finally knew what you were talking about.

Oh, and it will always be MGM to me too.

Heeeeeey girl! :wave2:

I'm loving this trip report so far! You & your sister seem like a blast :) Andddd, we have as dog named Chance, too!

The yoga capris yall have on in the pictures of the day you left... where are they from?

YAY for Christmas! Look for us! Maybe we will see each other! :)
Oh, and let us know if you figure out what to pack! I am having the HARDEST time! :P

Hey Arnold is CLASSIC. Its tradition now to take that picture. I'll probably make my children do it, even though they will have NO clue!
An she is taking her extra phone down this time...just in case :rotfl:

Thank for joining in! I'm glad you are liking the trip report so far!
The yoga pants are from Victoria's secret. I AM IN LOVE WITH THEM. I know that they are kinda pricey, but I seriously wear them ALL the time. It's like that commercial says, I'm too lazy for real pants! HAH

Looks like you had fun, despite the rain. And no you are not the only crazy person that loves the main street electrical parade music. When I was younger and my family used to drive to Disney, that was always the music we would start playing when we saw the welcome arch. It's one of the songs that the moment I hear it, it transports me right back to Disney. I'm sooooooo glad they brought the parade back!

And do think you might pretty, pretty please share you Buzz tips. Seriously the best score I have ever gotten (and I've been on it dozens of times) is 14,200. Pathetic, I know. :rotfl:

Ah, Buzz secrets. I'll tell you what. For those of you that want the ins and outs, or just our little tips, my sister or I will include that in our next Magic Kingdom update. Hey, gotta keep ya reading! :P

Your family looks like so much fun! And that pizza looks delish - I've started to get kind of leery of the chicken strip meals because it's so much brown food, but pizza has some red sauce so it's totally better and healthier. :rotfl:

Buzz used to be one of my favorite rides - and then I learned that my boyfriend has some weird ability to hit all of the special targets without knowing where they are. :sad2: Now I just resort to sabotage - much easier than remembering special targets. :thumbsup2 I'm so jealous of your galactic hero rating!

The water sidewalk painters are so talented. Though I guess it's one basic face shape with some add-ons. I like the squishy-face Mickey and Minnie - too cute!

I am determined to learn how to draw disney characters with water. IT IS SO COOL. Maybe I'm just weird, but I love it!

TOMORROW, TOMORROW! There will be a new update tomorrow!:woohoo:
Thanks for stinking with us!

YAY for updates! :) So, we left off with us riding Toy Story Mania and coming up we have characters, dinner, and FANTASMIC.

"Stop creepin on the Penguins!"

After we rode TSM, we headed over towards Tower of Terror. It was a pretty short wait, so we rode it in stand-by. My mom didn't ride because she doesn't like it, so I think she might have went and got RnRC fast passes. The coaster was being finnicky that day, so I can't remember when we rode it again!

Anyway! TT !

DSC06422.jpg

Me and JonP!

DSC06428.jpg

Creepy elevator :|

DSC06431.jpg

Our redneck pic!

After that we went on over to the next show of Indiana Jones! I always get the urge to stand up and yell "STEVE!" when the ball runs him over, but I never do. Please tell me you've all watched the Full House episode! CLASSIC!

DSC06436.jpg

Just hangin out !

We decided to go do the drawing class before our dinner reservation, so we headed over that direction. When we got there, we walked into The Magic of Disney Animation and HOLY CHARACTERS! There were so many! Seriously insane. So, of course we waited in line for some! Here they are! :)

DSC06439.jpg

Pooh Display in line!

DSC06442.jpg

Captain Hook!

DSC06443.jpg

Mulan!

After those two, the lines were pretty long and the area for the character drawing was filling up, so we just passed by. Plus, a lot of characters' lines were closed. Kind of a bummer. My sister did, however, creep on the penguins. Hence the title of this post! Silly girl!

DSC06444.jpg

Creeper picture!

When we got to the drawing place we took our seats. The artist inside gave us a TON of options and we finally settled on Sorcerer Mickey! It was pretty cool!

DSC06447.jpg

us and our picture!

After this we went and saw a showing of The Little Mermaid, which is awesome, and then we headed over to check in for dinner!

Hollywood and Vine was pretty good! Our waiter was quick and efficient, but I did not like where we were seated. It was a small table for the five of us and one of the chairs kinda stuck out into the walkway. Other than that, it was really pretty yummy!

DSCN3987.jpg

Just some food..that salad...BOMB.

DSCN3988.jpg

Dessert!

After this we had some time left before we went over to fantasmic, so my dad went to ride Star Tours again in the Single Riders line. My sister and I went into the Writers stop to get the infamous cookie! IT WAS DELICIOUS. I will be back for another in December!

DSCN3996.jpg

DSC06449.jpg

Us bein us!

Finally it was time for the show. No one in my family has seen Fantasmic in forever, but we didn't want to wait in that giant line, so we did book Hollywood and Vine Fantasmic Package. Let me tell you, it was well worth it. The seats were a little off center, but we didn't have to get there very early, and sat comfortably for the whole show! YAY! I'm glad we did the same this for the Candlelight Processional in December!

DSC06463.jpg

Our view!

DSC06475.jpg

Ending!

After the show, there was still some time left before we then end of the night since our show was the first one. While everyone else was going to see the other show, we decided to hit up our favorite roller coaster again!

DSC06480.jpg

HAHAHA

DSC06481.jpg

Nice one

And got a nice night picture in front of the hat!

DSC06485.jpg

dawww

We were EXHAUSTED though. So instead of stay for a while longer, we headed back home for the night. It was really actually nice because the bus wasn't too crowded, and we were able to get to bed a little earlier!

The next day is Animal Kingdom and we hit up the Hoop De Doo Musical Review! Full of surprises!

PS. Sorry my pictures are so big! I shrunk them, but I don't know what happened! :(

The Giant Zoo

That's what me and Kayla like to call it! I have to admit Animal Kingdom isn’t my favorite park, but its growing on me so we were excited!

We woke up at about 7:30 and got ready! The parents brought us our usual peanut butter bagels and we were on the bus around 8:45! We aren’t too picky about rope drip here. We just like to be early enough to get fastpasses for Everest and an early ride on the safari!

When we got there we went straight to Everest for our fastpasses, and just a side note I always get lost in this park? Its just really big to me I guess. Haha. The line was only 10 minutes though so we just decide to hop on!

I love this ride and we all had a blast! We headed over to dinosaur next since Everest’s line was so miniature. They were having malfunctions though so we just got fastpasses for later and went to the safari!

Jambo everyone! Love that and the safari. Its classic and we saw some lovely animals that morning! I don’t want to bore you guys with picture because I can never put my camera down on this ride but here’s a couple!
DSC06495-1.jpg

Giraffes are my favorite! I get so excited when I see them!
DSC06504-1.jpg

The ostrich was next to us for the longest time!

After our trip through the savanna we decided to check and see if dinosaur was working and it was! Awesome ride! Seriously I was scared to ride it until like last year but its great! :) Here’s our picture. Kayla is priceless!
DSC06511-1.jpg

We headed over to Finding Nemo: The Musical because it has much more limited times then Festival of the Lion King and we weren’t staying until late afternoon.

Jon loves this show and the music so we hit it up for him! It’s a great musical show and a ton of fun! I totally recommend it if you haven’t gone to see it yet, except the bleachers are so uncomfortable! :(

And since we were on a show kick, we headed straight over to see the Festival of the Lion King before lunch! I mean we hightailed it but there was a lot for us to get done in such a little time!

We were in the giraffe section (BAHH!) and I know some people hate it but I think it is awesome! Kayla and I always get real into it sooo we make it cool

This show is so inspirational! I love it so so so much! And Can You Feel The Love Tonight?! Forget about it. I always tear up. Ohhh Disney. You just tug my heartstrings! :lovestruc
DSC06520-1.jpg

We headed out to get lunch! I heard Pizzafari was awesome so darn it I was going to find this place and try it out! I get lost in this park and can never find my way here but I found it!

I got a pepperoni pizza, salad, and chocolate mouse for dessert! and headed over to Flame Tree Barbeque to eat with the eat of the family!

My pizza was delicious! Disney pizza is just better…i’ll never understand that :rotfl:
DSCN4002-1.jpg

My momma went to Restaurantosaurus to get the shrimp po boy! with fries and chocolate mouse.
DSCN3997-1.jpg

She really liked it! It was something different that she wouldn’t normally get and she was really glad she got it!

My dad and Jon both got the pulled pork sandwitches from Flame Tree! They said it was scrumptious! The smell that comes from that place is outta this world! It screams Disney for me, just sayin! They didn’t care for the beans but hey it was extra.
DSCN4000-1.jpg

My dad ordered an extra thing of onion rings because he loves them and these were no exception. Crispy and hot..nom nom.
DSCN4001-1.jpg

The desserts? Ehhh. I mean we all had some of them but they are just alright for me. Nothing all that special
DSCN4003-1.jpg

I cannot find Kayla's food. Therefore, I do NOT remember what she got!! I think it was the half chicken at Flame Tree, but I'm not sure!

After lunch we weren’t ready to head out just yet so we decided to try out these trails! And you know? They weren’t too shabby!

We saw some cool animals and it was really relaxed! It was hot that day though and Animal Kingdom heats up super quickly! So the walking was a tad intense, but it was different and if you have the time I say try it out! We’re glad we did!

Here are some of our lovely trail pictures! Haha!
DSC06531-1.jpg

I said do a safari face..and this is what I get. Hahah love them!

You know..just huntin’
DSC06542-1.jpg

Bamboo!! We love bamboo! Haha

P.S I wish Kayla and I were going to AK in December to see that adorable baby ele!!! Oh my goodness he is the cutest!

We took some pictures with the ahhmazing Tree of Life before heading out!
DSC06545-1.jpg

One with jon!
DSC06546-1.jpg

Parentals!

We also stopped to take a picture with the sign! My dad is an awesome photographer…this kills me! :rotfl:
DSC06547-1.jpg

Anal kingdom..heheh

When I looked at the picture right after I laughed for a good minute and shared. We all laughed and took another.
DSC06548-1.jpg

At least this is better!

We went back to the hotel to shower after the hot day to get ready for some hootin and hollerin at the Hoop De Doo Review…where Kayla gets a surprise! :)

Wow! Two updates since the last time I checked. Where to begin...

The rest of your day at MGM looks like it was a lot of fun. I never knew there were so many characters to meet in the animation building now, talk about a character-palooza. I guess that's new since 2007. And yes, I have seen that full house episode, and yes I always think of that part when watching the show. :lmao: And I gotta say Kayla, I think your Mickey turned out the best - sorry Jon and Christie. :rotfl:

Your AK day reminds me of how our AK days always seem to go, running around like crazy people trying to see every show, ride every ride, and get on Expedition Everest 3 or 4 times. Typically that's cause we only spend one day in AK so we can get extra days in Epcot. I really like both the Nemo Musical and the Lion King show, but I think I'd give the edge to the Festival of the Lion King - its just so upbeat and I always leave the theater singing. Oh, and now I'm sad that my mom and I don't have an AK day planned because elephants are my absolute favorite and I would love to see the baby. :lovestruc

Can't wait to hear about Kayla's surprise!

Ah! THANKS! That's one of my favorite attractions in MGM because of the drawing. Also, because they are better than me at everything else! Definitely check out all the characters there before or after you participate in the class, if you participate in the class. There were tons!

I love any musical, so I can't pick a favorite at AK! AGH! haha. I so wanted to go see the baby elephant. It is just so darn adorable! I can't get over it. :rotfl:

Well, time for an update! I'll be posting it sometime tonight! :)

If I'm not the worst DIS up!dater ever, I don't know who is. I am back, and so is Christie, and we are going to finish this, start a new TR, and follow along with everyone else's trips! I won't be returning until next year, so it is time to live vicariously through my past trips and all of your trips as well!

So..on to the update...where were we...OH YEA! Animal Kingdom in the morning, and my surprise in the evening! I know Christie told you all about our wonderful AK adventures, but she left the rest up to moi! Here it goes!

We're Hoop-de-dooin it Tonight

After our nap we started getting ready to go. Being the slow-poke girls that my sister and I are, we were a little late getting to the docks. My dad was MAD. We RAN down to the boats, where my dad had the little guy waiting for us. The captain was really nice about it, but I was still a little upset and embarassed that they had to wait. OH WELL. Off we were to the funnest dinner show in WDW. I was more than willing to forget what happened and, as they say, get on with the show!

DSC06549.jpg

Our waitress was really funny and she got us all the food and drinks we could have wanted! It was DELICIOUS! She also took pictures for us, which was lovely!

DSC06566.jpg

They started the show, and I won't give it all away for those of you that have never seen it, but I was tapping and singing right along! It's a blast and a half, even for a 22 year old!

DSC06572.jpg

So, there is one part in the show where they pick people out of the audience to go up on stage, and you will never guess who got picked! ME!!!! I know, right?! I was giddy, and honestly, I don't remember much about what happened. I had a line, which went like...." I couldn't do that! It would be unbearable!" Mind you, I was speaking to a bear! Oh man! My Disney debut! What a great time!! And of course, the fam snapped pictures galore! Here are a few!

DSC06573.jpg

DSC06576.jpg

DSC06577.jpg

I was BEYOND EXCITED! It was really awesome, and the cast was soooo nice.

DSC06586.jpg

Here is Jon playing the washboard, even though he did NOT want his picture taken doing this! haha :P

We went to an earlier show, so Jon, my sister, and I decided to head over to MK for some extra magic hour fun! Expect and Extra Magic Update soon!

And for some pictures for on your way!
DSC06591.jpg

That is the weirdest, most excited face i've ever made. Totally not my real face. Don't judge me.
DSC06596.jpg

Tradition!

Sorry about the shortness! I am off to see a musical at the little theater near our house! New, longer update soon! Along with FOOD PICTURES!
Alrighty! See ya Real Soon! ( I mean it this time! )

Looks like an awesome time at the Hoop-de-doo! I can't believe Kayla got picked to go up on stage! I haven't been there in over 10 years, I forgot how much fun it can be and how good the food looks.

By the way, I saw you guys twice during MVMCP, once on line for the princesses and the other time in line for the bus. You were too far away for me to say anything without shouting across rows and rows of people and looking like a complete crazy person. :lmao:

That is sooo funny that you saw us! I wish that you would have said hi! I kept looking for DIS people, but I swear, I'd never know anyone unless they hit me with a brick! Next time we are there at the same time, please look like a crazy person and say hi! I promise I won't think you're crazy! :P

Oh, and thanks for keeping up with my slow pace updating! I know it's crazy long between updates!

Extra Late, Extra Fun!

I have been to the world several times throughout my life but I don't think that I have ever done extra late extra magic hours! But let me tell you! FUN!

It was getting late and a lot of people were leaving the park, but not us! We were walking in! If I could tell you think exact time, I totally would, but I don't remember! I am sorry!

DSC06597.jpg

Here we are walking in! I love Disney at night, I just think everything is so pretty. But come to think of it, it's pretty all of the time.

DSC06599.jpg

Here is the happy couple, just had to include!

DSC06600.jpg

It was late, so we were starting to get silly! HEHE. Jumping pictures are the best!

DSC06603.jpg

PAHAHA, christie's face!

DSC06604.jpg

HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA, too much fun, but way too unattractive! Oh well, it was a good time!

We went and rode our favorites with NO WAIT really. The toughest part was trying to get in while everyone else was trying to get out!

There was a lot of fun things to do, it was the MK for goodness sake!

We were drowsy though, so we left around 1230 (I think). I may be making us sound wayyyy cooler than we actually are, I might have granny styled it and left earlier than that :P

DSC06609.jpg

Waiting in lines...

DSC06610.jpg

I'm really short, so I shouldn't be asked to take pictures! hahaha

So there you have it. Not many pictures of of extra fun extra magic hours! Seriously everyone. Do it. Go and spend some time in the parks really late at night! It's a ton of fun!

I'm a ditz and forgot to post our FOOD PICTURES from the hoop-de-doo! So I will include those in this post as well!

Here it goes!

DSCN4004.jpg

CORN BREAD! THE BEST EVERRRRR.

DSCN4007.jpg

chicken and ribs, NOTHING IS BETTER!

Still can't get over the fact that I WAS ON STAGE!

So tomorrow (in Disney time) we have Chef Mickey's! as well as some other FUN stuff, like my new favorite restaurant!

Thanks for being patient! Student teaching has started! So I hope to be able to get updates in here and there!

How awesome that you were on stage for HDDR. My brother was selected one time for the show. It just makes it so much fun. Who cares that you had on the super excited face. I would have too! :goodvibes

Wow! That was a super fast update!

I love late late extra magic hours at MK. Once we there until 3 in the morning, and let me tell you, by 1 AM the park was EMPTY. I have some awesome memories from that night. Looks like you guys had a great time too.

Well, at least I know I'm not the only one! :goodvibes

I don't think that I could stay awake that late in WDW. I MAKE myself get up so early for rope drops, I would probably fall asleep on a ride if I tried!

Sorry for the slow update! Who knew how hard student teaching would be! SHEESH! Loving every second though!! :teacher:

I am, however, going through withdraw! DISNEY WITHDRAW! I have been creeping and lurking on everyone's TRs lately, so I figured, what better than to finish mine and get started on my new one! Better late then never, yes?

Did you say Chef Mickey's!? You did! YOU GOT IT DOOD! Only my favorite breakfast in AMERICA!

To my horror, I have realized that I don't have a picture with the signage that is for Chef Mickey's. I, my friends, am ashamed. But....onto the deliciousness of breakfast!

Breakfast was delicious. They have everything and more. Mickey waffles anyone?

While eating, not many characters came by, so that made for quite a bit of waiting. I didn't really mind, but if I was in a rush, I may have been a little disappointed. I know they have a great schedule, but it does stink to have to wait at times! :P

First up-my main mouse. You all know him!

Mickey!

Next, we had a short rendezvous with the goofball himself!

I hope they get married and get a dog named PLUTO!

We finished eating, yumm, and headed out. We hopped on the monorail and rode to the Grand Floridian for some resort hopping. We found ourselves walking to the Polynesian and passing this guy!

DSC06673.jpg

Boys, take note. I will want to get married here.

DSC06675.jpg

DAW!!!

DSC06677.jpg

Take note and follow my next TR! This little guys is my BFF!

Lastly, we took a family picture that dates back to when we were very young. Here we are, my wonderful family!

Staying Dry Underwater! :)

Oh hey guys! I’m so sorry I’ve been MIA but this semester is ridiculous, but I’m on spring break now so I have time to relax and think about Disney! (which I’m totally missing, like hardcore) so I’m going to pick up where Kayla left off yesterday!

After our resort hopping, we stopped back at the wilderness lodge before heading out to a park before our early dinner reservations. While we were waiting for Kayla and my mom my dad wanted me and Jon to take a picture with the totem pole. (My computer isn’t letting me shrink pictures so I’m sorry they are kind of large!)

My dad and I!

Jon and I!

Once they joined us, we decided we would get on the first bus that came, which happened to be Epcot.

It was fun and I was happy with where we were going! We entered and decided to take the chance to do the things we haven’t gotten to in a while so we headed over to The Seas with Nemo and Friends!

DSC06688.jpg

Crush swam by! Super cute :goodvibes

DSC06690.jpg

Our attempt to take a picture with the fishes but the flash doesn't allow that.

It was a pretty warm day, like HOT. As soon as we stepped out of The Seas with Nemo and Friends the sun was intense, not that I minded it was just a little overwhelming coming from the air conditioning.

Kayla and I spotted Chip and Dale whom we ADORE. Seriously if I see them I have to stop because they are just so cute. The line was long and the sun was hot, but we were on a mission.

Just a side note, while we were waiting a group called the Jammitors were playing and since Jon is a drummer he was super into it, but they are awesome! If you have time you should really check them out!

Finally we reached the front of the line!
DSC06698.jpg

Chip and Dale :lovestruc love!

We headed back to the World Showcase, which looking back on it I’m not really sure why because I’m sure you all know how much hotter it feels back there on a warm day. We stopped to get this family picture on the way..
DSC06699.jpg

The ball! :)

We stopped at Mexico first. I love it there! Seriously the atmosphere is just amazing, you feel like you are there! And we rode The Grand Fiesta Tour, which is a new favorite of mine and Kayla’s. It is so catchy and fun! So if you have time it is a great way to cool off and there is almost never a line!

My dad wanted to eat around the world during this trip so since we weren’t having lunch he went to get churros! Which were awesome, especially the dipping sauce. Yummy!

DSCN4022.jpg

Churros!

We then decided to go over to Norway to try something we’ve herd a lot about…School Bread! It was worth the wait! I don’t even know why it is so good, but it is definitely very tastey!

DSCN4025.jpg

School bread :lovestruc

It was hot, we were tired, so we decided to just head back to the hotel before our dinner reservations so that we could clean up a bit!

We got back to the hotel in just about 20 minutes, which wasn’t bad at all. We have tons of time to cool off, hang out, and get ready for our dinners.

Me, Kayla, and Jon were heading over to the Yacht and Beach Club for dinner while my parents went to La Hacienda at Epcot.

We parted ways and decided that we would take the boat over to the magic kingdom and take a bus to the yacht and beach club from there. We loved riding the boats so we made every excuse to use them!

DSC06704.jpg

Me and Kayla waiting for the bus!

We got there and checked in and had a very short wait where we decided to document our dinner!

About 5 minutes later we were on our way to the table. We were told our servers name was going to be Ron, but a waited named John came over. We were confused but he was very nice, even though we didn’t see him much because of the buffet.

This restaurant was Jon’s pick because he LOVES crab legs. Kayla and me had never tried them and to be honest we weren’t all that excited about this dinner, but let me tell you….

We. Were. Wrong.

This dinner was absolutely delicious, mouth watering, and every other word that can describe seriously amazing food!

We tried the crab legs first because it was the reason we were there and while they are kind of hard to crack, they were so good! I have to admit that I usually don’t like seafood, but crab legs are tastey! I had quite a few of them! Here is a picture of us with our first crab legs!

DSC06707.jpg

SO EXCITED! :goodvibes:

DSC06708.jpg

Jon was also excited!

Jon mostly filled up on crab legs, but he tried the pizza and mac and cheese too. He also wanted to try the clams and calamari. He really enjoyed all of it!

DSCN4028.jpg

Jon's plate

Me and Kayla filled on this delicious pasta! I ate so much of it! The mac and cheese was also really tastey, and you can never go wrong with mashed potatoes! Those rolls too, goodness, so yummy.

DSCN4029.jpg

Kayla's plate

The desserts were mostly bon bons! The pink one was a strawberry cheesecake, which was good. The one in the back was the oreo bon bon, which was delicious! And the one on the left is the key lime tart, which was also pretty good! I don’t know what that think in the front is but I’m sure I enjoyed it.

DSCN4030.jpg

dessert!

Can you tell we are totally in love with this place! We told our parents they need to go someday because it is now a favorite of ours! The theme and food and service were all so awesome!

We headed back to the World Showcase after dinner to meet up with my parents and visit the rest of the Worlds!

Loving your trip report! You all look like you've had so much fun so far. Can't wait to read more :)
