(OK, the "ever" part is my opinion.)
Took Brittany to McDonalds. She's playing in the germ pit. I see "lights" out of the corner of my eye. Look over. Kitty corner, accross the street is a Dunkin Donuts.
This DD has a drive through. I've been through it several times myself. The drive through lane is narrow, at the very edge of the property. The business next door has one of those ugly chain link fences right up against the DT lane, seperating the 2 properties. It's about 6' tall. When you drive up to get your coffee, you are protected under DD's roof.
Well, what did I see!
A cop car with it's lights on, several people out front talking. Well, that's "weird". I look down a few feet and see this big 'ole camper STUCK in the drive through! (It's bigger than a Suburan, but smaller than those mega sized driving ones.) The whole chain link fence is bent out of shape for many feet, the ROOF of the DD's is all pushed out of alignment, singles everywhere.
Oh my!! It's one of those "if I hadn't see it for myself, I wouldn't have believed it!!"
Wonder if the camper guys insurance will pay for "an act of stupidity....." Let's add it up, damage to the camper, new chain link fence (several feet), new roof for DD's.
Awah, yes, sure hope that coffee was "worth it"!
(P.S. yes, there are signs everywhere telling the clearance of the DT, plus that hanging rod to "measure" you.)
