Here is the picture of my kids at the airport after I told them we were not really taking their Grammy to catch a plane but we were going to WDW! For those of you wondering if thats such a good idea-I think it was one of the best ideas I've had (IMHO)

So cool!
Still haven't decided how to tell our kids of their secret Disney Christmas trip. But I know I've got to have a camera ready when we do now!!

A wonderful photo and a magical memory! Thanks for sharing it with us :)

That is so cute! :) It reminds me of when I tell my 2 year old that we're going to see Mickey Mouse (or "Mouse House" as she calls it). Big smile, lots of jumping :)

It's mom's like you that make kids like me smile...CHEESE (now take my pic too and take me to WDW):bounce: :hyper:

Oh Trish, those faces are priceless... and I am glad you got it in a picture to save to show them when they grow up.... true happiness. :D

I can feel their joy just by looking at the picture! What a precious picture!

You captured the moment perfectly!! What a great way to find out. We are going for NYE and this is the first time I've been able to keep it a secret We were going to surprise our two DDs with a cruise in May. We're still going, but I only lasted two weeks before I cratered and told them. I am so weak:rolleyes:! The plan right now is to give them Pal Mickeys for Christmas. I hope my photo looks as great as yours!!!

I wanna be adopted!!!!

Seriously, great picture! What a fantastic surprise!

Erin :D

Love it! Put me on your adoption list too o.k.? :)

Thanks for posting. This is exactly what we are doing, the day after Christmas, and your children's faces really just made me realize that it is the right decision! We are going on the premise that we need to take our friends to the airport because they can't fit all of their luggage in their own car. I can't believe that I haven't already caved in and spilled the beans, but your picture gives me strength--- I think I can, I think I can, I think I can. . .

We surprised our DD6 with our last trip, but we broke down 2 days before and told her. We had watched a video of Fantasmic that night on the computer, to let her see that she could sit through it without getting scared, and she said "I WISH we could go back now!" That was it, we couldn't hold it in anymore.

She was sitting in the bathtub and I said to her, "How would you like to go to see Fantasmic for real?" And she sort of nodded sadly, and I said "in two days?" She looked at Mom first, to see if I was kidding, then she just sat there stunned for awhile. Slowly the smile spread across her face and she just clasped her hands together and grinned. First (and only) time in her life I've ever seen that child speechless!:teeth:

You can just FEEL their excitement! Great photo....thanks for sharing it with us!

Priceless- made me smile. :D

Now you'll have something to comfort you when they're older and start wearing those teenage scowls ("... I'm a good mother..." -keep repeating and looking at the photo). :teeth:

Thanks for sharing!

What a wonderful picture and a priceless memory!
