Superbowl Sunday.. will you be watching.. and where?

Hubby doesn't mind that our mini-trip to Disney will be over Superbowl Sunday.. however! He is planning on watching the game (naturally)

I was just wondering.. for those that will be there on 2/1 along with us.. does your family plan on watching the game? If so.. where? In your room? In a food court?

I hear the ESPN club will be jammed to the rafters, so getting in might be a problem.

Glad you asked. I've been curious about this too. DH and I plan to watch in our room. I'd also like to visit the bar for some interaction with others. It could be alot of fun. Super Bowl at WDW - one to remember.

Have no interest in Sports.......just anything DISNEY! One good thing, Pleasure Island will be empty...it was 2 years ago when the Stupid Bowl was played in Tampa!

We will be having a little super bowl party in our BWV room along with our friends who are joining us on our trip. We were going to try ESPN but figured it will be stuffed full of people and we have little kids.

PoohBear - Stupid Bowl - that's funny. I did not realize it was Super Bowl weekend when I planned our trip. The game watching is a compromise. I do like football, but I must admit it will be hard to sit still knowing all things Disney is within touch.
I'm glad you will have a chance to enjoy the smaller crowds. Have a wonderful time.

Dad and I aren't interested in the Stupid Bowl, but we (he) were hoping to catch the Kentucky vs Vanderbuilt basketball game at ESPN Club at noon. I wonder how early the ESPN club will start filling up for the Stupid Bowl? We may just have to catch the game in the room.

The Superbowl? No. I do believe that is the first night of Survivor, however. A few of us will be watching it in my room at PC. At least one kid will probably be watching something Disney in the kids' room, and my mother will be looking for something along the lines of "true crime" in her room.

I read on another thread, that ESPN club starts filling UP around 2:00pm for those Stupid Bowl fans. It starts at 6:15 I think.
