Hi there

Dodgy wifi connection so hope someone can help!!

Am in Charles de Gaulle airport tomorrow night. MAy arrive early as four thirty or late as six thirty

Quickest way to dlp. Is it evEn worth it. Is it worth it no park ticket but can buy if worthwhile

Hope makes sense on iPhone and tricky

Hi Karen :wave2: I gather you mean pm and not am? The TGV will get you there very quickly but personally I wouldn't bother. The park's only open until 8pm and there's no night-time parade or fireworks, massive refurbishment underway and BTM closed following an accident last week. You know I love DLP but even I'd give it a miss for just a couple of hours at most.

You can go direct from CDG using the TGV, takes around 15 minutes once on the train, it's 1 stop but the park closes at 20.00 tomorrow so it would be really really super short :)

Hello, as much as I love DLP, I would not race to get there and buy tickets for a few hours. Take it leisurely and book in at your hotel, have a drink and then soak up the village, an early night ready for the next full fabulous day.

Thanks all

I should have explained better! I only had a second to post my earlier message!!

I've been in France all week on a training course that finishes tomorrow. The course finishes too late for me to get home tomorrow night, and I'm flying home from CDG on saturday so staying there overnight Friday.

The thought of yet another hotel dinner was a bit sad, so I wondered if a train to Marne la valle might be possible, but sound like too late for the parks! Is DTD worth the effort, or not really?

Thanks millions !

Now you're talking ;) Cafe Mickey in the Village with some characters and a browse in the shops sounds a far more appealing option than a boring hotel dining room :rotfl: although I'm not sure what time the last TGV is. The RER train runs until late though so you could always catch that back ~ I think you have to change in Paris to get to CDG.

Hope you manage to get there ~ I'd certainly try! :goodvibes

Many thanks Elaine!

Sounds potentially painful to change in Paris to get back from MLV to CDG but I can explore that now!

Did I hear right that there was an Earl of Sandwich open now?!

Thanks so much :)

It is and I wouldn't recommend being on your own on the RER B going up to the airport late at night. It's not great in the day but at night it becomes very unpleasant.

As pp said the TGV runs till late so you would be loads better getting that :)

Hi Karen I was out of action yesterday on other duties and waking up to historical news in Scotland :thumbsup2 Sorry I missed your post.

Paris for a week long training course would be my idea of heaven. Hope you had time to enjoy all that the city has to offer.
Would love to hear if your impromptu visit to DLP came off ?

Hi all

Many many thanks for your really helpful advice :cloud9:

Reid, the course was unfortunately not exactly in Paris ;) but one of the suburbs. We were doing 12 hour days so had no opportunity to see the city, unfortunately

In the end, we got to CDG quite early and I thought it would be a cert to go to Disney Village, but the best laid plans.....

The hotel shuttle took an hour to come, and by the time we had arrived, checked in, and I'd factored in a similar time in reverse to get back to CDG for the train, it would have left me under an hour in DLP :(

But I know now for next time ;)

Many, many thanks again.

Never mind, it obviously wasn't meant to be. Sounds a bit like a course my sister went to on Barbados - it sounded so glamorous but she hardly had time to set foot in the hotel garden let alone its beach!
