We are going to Orlando in November and we currently don't have a platinum pass and wondering what the options are now. A while ago there was a 7 day unlimited visits and it was fairly affordable, any idea if it is still there?

Have heard of the Super Grover pass, but not sure how it works, can anyone explain? Is it cheaper?

If we get a good deal on the passes now we might go next summer to a few other parks like Seaworld San Diego or Busch Gardens.

The Super Grover is sold on sesameplace.com.
It is good at Sesame Place in PA, Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, VA and Tampa, FL, Sea Worlds in Orlando, San Antonio, TX, and San Diego, CA. It is good at the waterparks near each of them but not Discovery Cove.
It costs $212 for an adult and if bought now is good until December 31, 2014. The last few years it had been on sale for 25% off or about $157 from around Thanksgiving week till when Sesame Place opens March 1.
When we had ours in 2012 it was considered a platinum pass which gives free preferred parking and special seating at the shows as well as a ride again privilege where you wait in line once and can stay on the ride for another run.
The website now lists platinum perks at Sesame Place but does not say about the sister parks. It does say free general parking though.
You also get 10% discount on food and merchandise and some months have discounts at Discovery Cove.
You can buy it online and print out the voucher to take to the first park to redeem for a pass. Some states are not allowed to buy it--it is on the site.
We enjoyed it and will do it again sometime.

Can I redeem it at another park first or do you have to go to Sesame Place?

I don't have personal experience, but I have read on the boards that others have been able to redeem in Orlando. We are not eligible to buy Super Grover's because we live in North Carolina. You absolutely cannot beat the price!

I know it said that last year but I could not find the states that could not buy on the website now. You might want to check again because maybe it no longer excludes you.

And to the other poster, we bought ours online, printed the vouchers and redeemed at SW Orlando. We even got free parking that first time by showing the voucher at the parking toll booth.

We have the 2013 Super Grover Pass and it is considered a Platinum pass at all the parks. It is printed Platinum on the back of the pass. Bought it at Sesame Place in October 2012 and it will expire December 31, 2013. Used it at BG Williamsburg, Tampa and SW Orlando. We get free Preferred Parking in all of the parks and got to use the Platinum Reserved seating at all of the SeaWorld Shows. You also get passmember discounts in all of the parks (30% at Sesame Place and 10% at all of the other parks). If you buy the passes online during the offseason, after Sesame has closed for the year, they will mail them to you as live passes.

We have had Super Grover passes for many years. We now have platinum Busch Gardens Williamsburg passes. Every year the price of the Super Grover passes significantly increases and always expire Dec 31. We purchased Williamsburg because the yearly price was the same and we are locked into 2 years with a monthly ez pay.

Sesame Place has a kiosk outside the gate where you can have your vouchers scanned for a actual pass. Last year I recall spending around $8 and having the active passes mailed to my home.

W have been to Busch Gardens Tampa twice and neither time were we given preferred parking - just free regular parking.

We love Sea World, Aquatica, and Busch Gardens!

The Super Grover's will be FedEx'ed to your hom efor a shipping up charge, maybe $8 or so ($8 for all in the envelop, not each)? These are turnstile ready tickets. If you do the free print at home, you will get vouchers that you must redeem to customer service for tickets at the theme park. If you can wait until Black Friday, they will be 25% off.

I paid to have my Supergrover passes shipped via Fedex to my house. It was $8 for three passes, not $8 each, and they aren't Sesame Street themed, but rather a generic logo on the front. Each says Super Grover Season Pass (Platinum) on the back. We are bringing a family friend with us on our December trip and rather than get her a SG pass we opted for the $129 14 day unlimited SeaWorld and Aquatica pass. With the PlayandDine promo code we were able to get a free All Day Dining "pass" for SW and Aquatica (one at each park).

Not sure if I can wait, but that black Friday deal is awesome, hmmm...

I wish the Black Friday sale started a week or so earlier. We're planning on going ON Black Friday.

Hoping the black Friday sale starts soon! LOL We have two back to back trips planned. Xmas Dec 23 to Jan 2, then March 7th to 16th. My kids love all the "Busch Parks" so would love to buy these for them for Xmas. I have 2 passports right now (one for SW, one for BG) on EZ pay,we have had them for 3 years. We are Canadian, but I believe they now won't allow Canadians do the EZ pay!! Disappointing.

With the Black Friday prices, do we still get the EZ Pay if we want or payment in full?
