Super Early Tomorrowland Dessert Party Reservations?

I've booked the Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks dessert party for our trip in March. I had booked the party for our trip last November as well and had a 8:25 reservation when Wishes was scheduled to start at 9 that night. On our upcoming trip the only time available all week was 6:20 so I booked it. Now I'm looking at the schedules and I just realized that Wishes is scheduled at 10 that night! Are we really supposed to sit there and wait for the fireworks for over 3 hours?! I'm considering cancelling it but thought I would ask about this here first. Is this something new or is there a reason for it being that early?

From what I understand that time is just to confirm your reservation. The party will start one hour before the fireworks. I believe it's in the "need to know" section of the party description.
