Super Bowl Viewing

We saw reservations pop up earlier this week for the 13th and without thinking twice grabbed them. I then realized it was the Super Bowl and thought about cancelling.

Now I see they are setting up a super bowl viewing thing in DCA. Anyone been in years past? Is it a fun way to view the game?

The last time I went on a Super Bowl was Broncos vs Panthers whenever that was and I don’t remember any viewing options.

With a local team playing in their stadium, it might get packed. I was in the parks Super Bowl Sunday in 2020, not long before the shutdown, but did not watch the game live anywhere, sorry.

I'm pretty sure it's just that ESPN will be filming from there for most of the week leading up to the Super Bowl. Since the game is not on ABC/ESPN, can't imagine they would want to broadcast another network's airing.

Can confirm - the World of Color area is for ESPN filming of their pre game shows only, not game broadcast.

Dang, I was hoping for a unique experience while watching the game. I guess I need to keep my eyes open for the 12th.

If you are a keyholder, maybe, but to spend the price of admission to DLR to waste it watching the stuporbowl seems odd.

Splitsville in DTD will have it on I assume.

Craftsman Bar will probably have their TVs tuned to the Super Bowl, but the tables are not really set up for views of the TVs, and there isn’t a ton of seating at the bar itself, so I’d consider this a limited option.

In the past they have brought TVs into Hearthstone Lounge for big games, but I don’t know if they have been doing that recently.

The former Steakhouse 55 Lounge would also have games on, but that’s no longer an option.
