Anyone flown with them before?? They have direct for 4 for $1500 for April 2009...I'm considering it but want some opinions please...

We flew with Sunwing in April to Dominican Republic. Very nice. Great ppl good food. You have the option of extra leg room on the first 5 rows of seating on the right side of the plane. We were in them the only way to go. Lots of room. I would fly with them again.

We have flown with them numerous times, great flight, people and food. The only advice I have is especially in Orlando, arrive at the airport early. Even Toronto, but much more so Orlando.

Is the line (check-in) very long, so that we have to arrive early? Do they offer web check-in?

Last time we flew them (January) the line up at Orlando was so long the security split the line so we were actually lined up outside. Toronto isn't too bad, but because they fly early and US customs doesn't open until, I think, 5:00 and there are a bunch of flights waiting, it can be a little stressful.

The flight itself tho is as good, or better than Westjet (who we flew with in April). Free food, glass of champagne and a free recent movie. The only thing is watch your baggage allowance carefully, on the way home they are dilligent about paying overage. and they only take cash, no debit, no credit.

How early is early? 3 hours prior to flight time? or more? I'd appreciate feedback on this.

Also thanks for the tip on overage pricing and cash only ! Yikes. We few west jet last time and every person prior to us had to pay over, then our turn, sure enough we were "over" and had to pay!! They took credit however!!

That's a good price out of Toronto, I would say book it.

Three hours should be fine.

For overage, we were in big trouble without them taking credit, they sent us to a bank machine. Of course my hubby's credit card doesn't have a pin number and our debit card didn't work. So thankfully, I pay my credit card by the machine and had a pin number for it

I would not be hesistant to book with Sunwing - go, have fun and don't worry!

We flew with Sunwing this past January and paid $562.00 round trip for three people! That was amazing! The extras like food, the champange and hot towels were great bonus's. We were there at just about two and a half hours early and were about fourth in line for check in. The line for customs was a pain due to it not opening until 5am or just there after, but the savings made it worth it.

On the way back we arrived a bit later than we wanted for check in and were only in line for about twenty minutes. We weighed over on one bag and they did NOT charge us!

Sunwing will have all our future business.
