Hi Misty

Glad you liked the place.

Who did you book such a good rate with?

Herc.

Welcome home Misty!:sunny:

I'm sooo glad you enjoyed Cypress Pointe!:p It really is a nice resort. We've been going there with my family (who own there) for the past 10 years and can't wait to return in March!:)

we booked through hotelkingdom.com. i was a little worried about booking through them but we had a wonderful experience and will definetly book with them again, and will definetly stay at sunterra cypress pointe again and cant wait to do so.

We stayed at sunterra cypress pointe in july with another couple and loved it. I was so pleased with all the room that we had and how beautiful the condo was. The jacuzzi tub was great too. This is a great place to stay if you don't mind being off property.

hello,

approximately how far was your drive to any of the parks? What did you think of the location?

thanks alot

Lori

Its not far at all! The resort is off 535 which is the street with the main entrance to the Disney area. That street takes you through downtown Disney and then into the parks area. Its a good location.

We have booked our vacation for April through hotel kingdom. They said that they don't know if we will be put in the old part or new part. Just wondering what everyones experience has been.
Thanks.

Hi gillytwins:wave: I think you'll enjoy either the old villas (which have just finished getting all re-done this year) or the new Grande Villas. We stay in the Grande Villas in a 2 bedroom and love all of the resorts.:)

We'll be at Cypress Pointe from March 29th thru April 5th. When will you be there?

All in all I think you'll really enjoy your stay there!

Can you tell me how deep the shallowest part of the pool is. Also are the kiddie pools close enough that i can be near both. I have 6 year old twins and a 2 year old. The twins will want to be in the big pool. The baby in the kiddie. Thanks.

Oh darn! That's too bad you won't be there when we are....but you're still going to enjoy this resort.:D

I really can't remember the depth but you go down some steps into all of the pools and I would imagine they are 3 ft to start and then a little deeper. Although they don't go to...... say a diving depth of 6 ft.

The kiddies pool is over at the Grande Villas part of the resort (you may use all 3 big pools when a guest at any part of Cypress Pointe) which is the big "turtle" shaped pool. Yes you could sit and watch both pools at the same time if you need to. The kiddies pool is all fence enclosed too.:)

They also have great mini golf too!

If I can be of any more help please just ask away!:sunny:

I've seen pictures of the turtle pool at the grande villa. That big turtle pool is a kiddie pool? Just wanted to clarify. Thanks.

Actually BOTH pools are turtle shaped.........both the children's pool and the big one too!:)

Last year we stayed at Vistana Villages. We had a kitchen, laundry, dishwasher. It was supplied with dishes, dishsoap, dishwashing detergent, dish cloth, etc. Just wondering if Cypress Pointe does the same. Is there anything you can think of that we would need to bring? Thanks.

LOL.... Nothing at all! We always have everything we need when we arrive. If you run out of anything such as dishwasher powder, paper towels etc. just call housekeeping and they'll bring whatever you need. I always like lots of extra pillows and that's the first thing I do when we arrive! ;) :)

We have a ways to go yet before our trip, so I am sure I will think of other things to ask about the resort. I appreciate all your replies. Thanks again.

You're very welcome!;) Glad I could help.:sunny:

Good to hear! I'll be checking into a 1 bedroom Nov. 1st! :)
