I just signed up and am overwhelmed! I don't understand the whole survey thing. There are 3 day day, yes? I've seen talk about having DH fill out a survey, but why? Would he do it under my account with Sunshine, but use his own email? How do I keep track of it?

I also belong to Mypoints with another email address. If MP sends me a survey for OTX and I do it, then I can't do it with Sunshine even though it's another email address right?

If anyone can type out step by step what they do and how they do it, I would appreciate it.

The "Daily Survey" and "Your 2 Cents Survey" are both run through Greenfield. People have another family member take one or the other - consistently - to increase their chances. Each person must be assigned to one and use the same e-mail and demographic information for each attempt. Yes, log in through your account and they take the survey - it is a "household or family" account. As for OTX - I am not sure, but my guess is one a day. If you are told no survey are available - try again later. Also, do not do the same "freebie" offer on both programs. That is considered fraud and you could be banned.

I have DBF do the Daily Survey and I do the Your 2 Cents Survey. I also try for the OTX.

I suggest you join the SR forum and read the stickies and ask questions.

I can't get a single survey to finish. My DS was doing one on video games and spent a good chunk of time on it, then suddenly it said he didn't qualify. :confused3

Everyone sings the praises of this program, but I'm not seeing it. What am I missing?

Honestly, I think anyone who does the daily surveys with any rewards program has a love/hate relationship with the surveys. It's fabulous when you get the easy ones or the interesting ones and they credit. But when you get the crappy ones (which there tend to be more of at the end of the month), you feel really screwed.

My best advice is to pay close attention to the surveys that other people are saying didn't work for them and avoid those surveys like the plague. It's not a perfect solution, but it does seem to help with the issue of ones that freeze up or you can't make it through to the end.

It is maddening isn't it? Those are the worst, when you get disqualified after giving our input.

My only suggestions in add'n to Tricia's would be to make sure that each and every question is read carefully. Sometimes they throw in trick questions.

For example, I had a survey end the other day that had two things that you could click. One was a text link that had the note "Click here to get paid" The other was an arrow button that was like all the other previous pages. BUT, the note said "Do not click the button. If you click the button you won't get paid".

I'm sure alot of takers just kind of go on autopilot sometimes clicking that arrow. I wonder how many got burned?

That was just an example of a really blatant one. Alot of times the will say, Click the box all the way to the right. or Click option 6 to mark your place in this survey.

They do this to make sure 1. you are giving honest thoughtful answers and 2. it isn't some robot program filling things out.

Also, they time the surveys. If the "timer" thinks your are going to fast to have not read thoroughly, it may boot you out at some random part in the survey. I make sure I read really really slow.

In case you didn't know. When you get the screen that says We're sorry out of surveys, etc. You can still try back later in the day. They might load more.

Good luck!

Yes, that does happen. And you want to throw your computer when it does. I do not qualify for many surveys - wrong demographics. As I read fast, I actually count between answers and clicking to avoid them throwing me out for going to fast.

Try not to get discouraged! You can keep trying surveys all day - and remember shopping as well.

Thanks for the help. I actually saw the "don't click this button". :rolleyes1

I worry about this one though.

Do you have any children between the ages of

0-6
7-10
11-14 (yes)
15-18 (yes)

Ok, so I check the circles for the two ranges I have. Next question:

Pick the sex of your child. :confused3 I have one of each. I don't know which one to choose. I've tired both and I still can't get through a whole survey.
