Family of four, two are children, one is an infant needing a carseat (which we are bringing along)

Tiffany Towncar
-direct service
-help with luggage at baggage claim (right?)
-costly

Sunshine Flyer
-cute theme
-half the cost for our family
-longer transport time
-no luggage help

We also fly down Feb 1st, which is the first day Sunshine Flyer runs. So no previous experiences to go off of, and potential first day jitters.

Which would you pick and why?

We were going with Tiffany Town Car but just noticed a price increase from when I was looking at it a month or so ago. Going to have to re-assess.

I've read several reports recently that the limo drivers aren't allowed to park and wait for you at baggage claim anymore. Instead, you text them when you have your luggage, and they meet you outside. At least pickup is on the same level as baggage claim, so you don't have to transport your luggage down a level (or worse, up a level, across the terminal and then down 2 levels). I'm not sure if that's a permanent change or not. So you should probably confirm one way or the other before or when you book.

I have heard mixed things on this as well. Definitely plays a big factor into the decision. We miss luggage delivery for sure!!

Certain companies are still waiting at baggage claim (Mears and Ace for sure).

Sunshine Flyer is a bus service. When you are at the airport, you don't know how long you will have to wait before the bus leaves. You don't know how many stops it will make before it gets to your hotel, or where those stops will be.

Tiffany Towncar is a vehicle which is just for your group. It will go directly from the airport to your hotel (unless you request a grocery stop).

I wouldn't let "cute theme" factor into the decision. Either you are willing to pay more for private, direct transportation or you would prefer to spend that money on something else.

I used Tiffany twice in the past seven months and neither time did we receive luggage assistance at baggage claim. Actually, the second time we used them (just about a month ago) was not a great experience. Not terrible. I wouldn't encourage anybody not to use them. But there were multiple small issues that I felt should not have happened for the price I paid. Hopefully that experience was a one off, but it still make me likely to try a different service in the future

Airline and amount of luggage is factor. SW allows 2 checked bags. SW pax have to go down to level 2 ti get bags, back up to 3 schlep bags diagonally across terminal then down to level 1. Car service and Ride share get picked up on level 2 go through doors outside baggage claims

We are flying delta so I believe its the same side (B). But if Tiffany isnt offering luggage help currently that is a deal breaker for me. Does anyone know if Tony Hinds crew is still offering that?

Tony wasn't offering. I didn't ask
Call the service and ask. Websites might not be current. Ask about pricing. I believe meet n greet results in a charge to the driver.

I ended up booking Sunshine Flyer. At less than half the cost of the private transportation, it’s what works for our family.

We are scheduled to arrive the first day they operate, so fingers crossed!

We have used Tiffany Towncar four times in the past 12 months to take us from MCO to a Disney resort and have had no issues. The last two trips we grabbed our own luggage and met the driver outside. We are flying in this Thursday and using them. I will ask about luggage assistance and provide an update.

That would be great, thank you!

tony is not allowed to come inside to baggage claim. They wait in the nearby lot until you have your bags and you text them the number you are standing at outside baggage claim and they will pull up and load your bags from there. (With Bob I think he told me what number to go to, Tony just told me to text him whatever number I went to ). Both were literally right outside the door by our baggage claim within minutes.
