Does anyone now about Sunset Lakes. We found a homes with Florida sun vacation homes. The price is right for us but is distance to Disney 3 miles like they say it is ?

I think it depends where they measure from and to.

Sunset Lakes is just beyond Emerald Island. If you want a measurement, from the entrance to Sunset Lakes to the Rainforest Cafe at Animal Kingdom is 4.4 driven miles. See this google map.

I would guess that it is under 3 miles from the edge of Sunset Lakes subdivision to the edge of WDW property. It is still in a pretty close location and if the property is right for you, then go for it.

We stayed there two years ago and loved the location. We actually considered buying into the development we liked it so much.!
It was VERY close to disney...A right then a left, a right and a left onto sherberth...and you were there!
