Sunrise transportation

Anyone have any luck with this company? They do not require payment ahead of time, which to me seems like it would be easy for them to blow you off if they got busy.

Sunrise is a decent company. Not requiring payment ahead of time is not necessary bad. In the past there have been companies who have required payment and not showed up. These companies are gone now and just about anyone I know of will take care of you. Those who require payment ahead of time usually indicate the companies who employ drivers. They get your money ahead of time and pay the driver on a pay check basis. That requires you to tip the driver to keep him happy.

There are many companies now that require payment when they drop you off at 1/2 way into a roundtrip price. Because drivers have ways of taking credit cards or even cash, passengers have tended to want to pay when the work is presented to them.

Sunrise Transportation is a small company but John, the owner, works hard to take care of his customers.

i have yet to use a company that requires any form of payment or credit card until after the first leg of the journey, so it is not unusual, or anything to be wary about.

Most transportation companies simply require credit card information to secure your reservation, same like a hotel, they do not charge your card in advance. Then when you arrive at your destination (after each leg), the driver collects by your option, cash or credit card.

I went ahead and used Sunrise Trans for transport from Sanford aiport to AKL. They had the best price and their service was excellent. Clean vehicle and friendly service.
