Ok, so I am not a sun glass person but I know i should wear them instead of squinting everywhere. I guess my face is on the longer side. I can not seem to find any glasses that I like. What type of sun glasses do you all wear? I would like to purchase a pair very soon. Any help is appreciated.

I wear Oakley Radar's. They cost a little more but are well worth it. My wife wears cheaper pairs and has to replace them often. If taken care of, they will last a long time.

I have worn Revo's in the past and they were really nice too.

I wear guess sunglasses and love them, I have a small thin face and have trouble finding sunglasses and these are great.

The best quality sunglasses are probably Maui Jim's, their lenses are awesome! Oakley does have a couple plastic frames that fit smaller faces. A lot of the fashion ones are much larger now as the style has gotten larger.
I'd definitely suggest looking for a polarized lens, the polarized lenses reduce glare and is really the best protection.

I def recommend wearing sunglasses over squinting. Sunglasses with UV protection will help protect your eyesight. Also leaving your eyes exposed to the sun will cause premature wrinkles & the excessive squinting will also cause premature wrinkles.
Just keep looking and you will find a pair that not only fit your face & fit your style. Try them on wherever you see any. Good luck in the hunt!

I agree with Maui Jim's. They are expensive, but well worth it!! Of course I am a bit partial to them because my sister works there.

DH has a large head and can never seem to find sunglasses that fit. For those of you with a larger head, what do you wear?

The larger sized sunglasses are in style now and I think they compliment those with longer faces (like me!). I really like them because they give you more coverage. You don't have to spend a lot to get UVA/UVB protection. (polarized is more $)

However, I am truly LMAO :lmao: because I remember when my MOTHER used to where these and we used to say she looked like she had 'fly eyes.' Lovely children we were! HA! Payback.

Thanks for all the replies. My search will continue................maybe I am being to picky.:confused3:)

Sorry, no help with the sunglasses, I wear sunglasses, but they are prescriptions. I have the same frames for my prescription sunglasses as I do for my regular glasses.

The only thought I have is this: if you can't find sunglasses you like, consider going somewhere like Walmart or Costco Optical and look at glasses frames and pick a frames that you like and have them make you a pair of sunglasses...they can put lenses with no correction in them and you can choose the tint/color you like to go with the frames. If you are buying name brand sunglasses you are probably spending $$$ anyway, so it might not be outrageously expensive.

I love my Oakley Bottlecap sunglasses. I used to always buy the cheap $20 pair but they never lasted. These are going on 2 years because I keep them in a case in my purse.
I have a smaller face and these just fit great. :)

I have a small brown pair from lei that have silver gem things on the side from boscov's.

I have a really tiny pair of black/pink coach ones that fit my small face perfectly.

I have Ray Bans. I like polarized lenses with either large lenses or the wraparound style for more coverage. I also like plastic frames b/c I like to put them on top of my head when I'm not wearing them, and I don't like to get that nose piece caught in my hair.

I just went on the Maui Jim website to check out their glasses since a couple people mentioned them. You can put in the shape of your face and they recommend what type of glasses would look best for you.

Oakley, my husband only buys Oakley. Varying styles. They last forever, but my husband loves sunglasses so we each have several pairs. The last pair he gave me he came home and said "Happy Tuesday." :lovestruc

Maui Jim :cool2:... they still have glass lenses. More resistant to scratching. Also, if by chance the break ?? you can return for a free repair, just pay shipping. Many styles to choose from. No i don't work for Maui Jim But i do own a pair. The first pair lasted 10 years. I'm sure i'll get 10 out of the second.:cool1:

I splurged and bought a pair of Coach sunglasses. I love them !! I know they are costly but they wear well for me and don't leave indentions on my nose like some of the other ones I've worn before.

Or you get lucky and find a pair on final clearance at some place like TJ Maxx like I did. I have a feeling not many people want super tiny sunglasses but with my tiny face I do.
