I've been faithfully watching the park news and trying to keep up with what days the park hits capacity. Starting this weekend, I'm going to try to chart it for planning purposes. I know Saturdays are bad, and Sundays aren't too great with the HHN houses available.
We are arriving Sun 12/13, but not until after lunch. My original plan was Sunday afternoon/evening Universal, Mon MK, Tue HS, Wed Universal, Thur EP, Fri Universal until 2pm then head home. You can see I have a really compressed schedule and the fam requested both HP and SWGE, so I don't have any play in our days. Our best shot at Gringotts and FJ seem to always be on that Sunday arrival day, as the parks weren't as busy then. Last time, we literally walked on to FJ on a Sunday night in June, with only a 30 min wait at Gringotts. Was hoping for the same for this trip when it was planned a couple of months ago.
Once the HHN houses are closed, will Sundays be better? If the park reaches capacity, do they let more people in once people start to leave? Just trying to set the stage for my peeps; one is a first timer and one hasn't been in 20 years.
