Sunday Tuxedo Fittings - What if the sizes are wrong?

I called Carolyn Allen's about getting tuxes delivered for our early Monday morning wedding, and they said that we have to have the fitting by noon on Saturday or else they won't be able to exchange pieces - just hem them.

But nobody's flying in until Saturday night! I've heard horror stories about having the wrong sizes - and even the wrong tuxedos - delivered the first time and needing to exchange them - but we won't be able to do this.

Any suggestions? After Hours seems even worse - they don't do fittings on weekends at all.... Should we just drive to Men's Warehouse instead?

What did you guys do?

I had the same situation. Our wedding was on Monday afternoon and all Carolyn Allen had available was Sunday morning fittings. So, when we went for our fitting, there were a few things that were not right (some shirts too big, some vests too small, etc) Nothing HUGE, but still things that needed to be fixed. They assured us that everything would be fine and fixed when they dropped the tuxedo's off the next day. We just had to trust that it would be. Sure enough, when the boys got their tuxedo's, everything was perfect. They really are great there, and will do whatever it takes to make things right for the big day! good luck!!

Hmmm I am not sure about the weekend thing since our wedding was on a Fri and CA came on Weds for the fitting, but i can say there were some things wrong with the measurements but they quickly fixed them! they were great to work with.

She also steamed all of our dresses.
