We have one day to go to the parks this summer and we were looking at Sunday, July 6. I was wondering what peoples thoughts are on how busy the parks will be that day since July 4 is two days earlier on Friday. Will people be heading out by the sixth, or will they still be lingering on that Sunday causing the parks to be packed?

People will either begin or end their vacations with the 4th of July long weekend, so it will still be very busy. The entire month of July is busy.

I agree. I think it will be swamped.

You will have the people who came for 4th of July, and those who are coming for the week "after"... then you will probably have other Florida tourists who are wanting to check out Disney...plus its a weekend...

Expect it to be very very very busy.

My daughter is flying into Orlando on July 4th. She will be here for nearly a month before flying back home. I tried to talk her into another week to do Disney, but she's sticking with the 4th to the 11th. So we are going to be the crazies there in those crowds

Us too.. We have 2 b- days that week.... The 6th and the 8th... It's been a while since we've been down that week, so we'll see how it goes. We were at wdw in June of 2011 and 2012 both around Father's Day It was busy and warm, but I'd bet not as busy or warm as the 4th weekend. Well, we've been going to wdw long enough to know how to deal with crazy busy times.

Not last July 4th but year before it was wall to wall people after the fireworks to the point no one was able to move if they were near the hub, which is where I was. My friend nearly passed out and a CM had to clear a path for us to get to the First Aid Station. Guests refused to move for even him. Some felt we were just trying to walk thru them!
