Even without a minigame in the Q button quest it crashed, but it seemed to take longer before the crash. I wonder if Lily's quest will have a minigame, and this is a practice run for getting VMK up after that crash? I really wish I knew what was causing these Sunday morning crashes, or at least knew that staff had found the problem and is working really hard to fix it. At least there was time to do Fin's quest today, unlike last week when VMK was down for the entire time of the quest.

I just wanted to agree with Mal. I haven't been playing much for awhile because of the frustration it was causing me. I tried to get on to do the Sunday quest for the first time in 3 weeks. So much for that.

Urgh! I'd finished the car quest for both characters and hoped that this would be the end of BSOD Sunday. Finished Host Fin's room quest for mine, then signed off so my daughter could get in line & play it too. The line was moving so quickly! It was such a nice change. Then when my daughter was 17 in line for the room she got the disconnect message. This is nuts.

As much as I can't stand this Sunday insanity as a player I think I'd hate it even more as a Host. A a player I have the option to say "Enough! I'm going to go do something else." The Hosts have to deal with it whether they like it or not. That would put me on my last nerve. For all of our sakes I really hope the higher ups at VMK will sit down and really look into trying to fix this issues permanently. Continued episodes of this is just going to make gamers angrier, hosts frustrated and definitely not the "happiest place on earth."

Time for who to do the quest? I have been unable to do it. Supposedly I should have had an hour and a half to do it, but I am unable to get on. In fact, no one is able to get on. The only people that were able to do it are the people that happen to have the time to sit and wait trying to get into the game over and over again, throughout the morning. It's just ridiculous.

Time for who to do the quest? I have been unable to do it. Supposedly I should have had an hour and a half to do it, but I am unable to get on. In fact, no one is able to get on. The only people that were able to do it are the people that happen to have the time to sit and wait trying to get into the game over and over again, throughout the morning. It's just ridiculous.

What I meant was that at least VMK was open for some of the time the quest was running, and some people have been able to do the Q button quest on one or more characters. I was able to play it on both my characters, and had logged off VMK before it went BSOD today. I'm sorry you weren't able to get on, but VMK was working near the beginning of the quest time. That's when I got through the quest. The only way I was waiting to get in over and over was the wait for my first character, logging off, and then waiting for VMK to load for my second character. I don't always just sit and keep trying to get VMK to load. Once I know it isn't just me, if there's something else I'd rather do, I go do that and check the boards occasionally to see if VMK is back up yet. It is rediculous that VMK keeps breaking pretty much every sunday for a while now, but at least none of us is staff that has to read all the complaints about VMK not working and why it took so long to fix when it finally does come back up.

Out of curiousity, and to torment myself , what was the prize for Fin's quest this morning (from the Q)?

I couldn't get in due to BSOD and then had real life stuff that interfered with VMK time . I was able to do Quest for Knowledge, though.

On Fin's quest available with the Q button you would win 300 credits, a roll of film and the "oh so rare" Club33 pin. Better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick.
