I see there's a topic on the steakhouse, but not anything recent about the sunday brunch.

Anyone with any recent thoughts of the brunch, is it worth it? Good food? Enough characters?

I thought this would be nice to do as we haven't been at DLP on a sunday before.

Bumping.

We haven't been to this for years but we always used to think it was very good value for money ..... plus there were always lots of locals in there - that's always a good sign. :)

I've been wondering this myself, we're coming back on a Sunday and I'm debating whether to book this, Cafe Mickey or just grab something quick and make the most of the last day in the park :confused3

I think the prices have gone up, and I'm fairly sure theres no wine or champagne included in the buffet price anymore, just soft drinks.

This is definitely not a meal to be rushed in my opinion. You typically see 4 characters there (usually from the usual lot you can see in Cafe Mickey) but if you're there for noon the children can have a balloon-maker make them something.

When we last went it was a couple of years ago, but we all really enjoyed it.

Took this last Sunday (2/9)

I think sadly that it's not what it was reading reviews on French forums :confused3

thats a huge hike in price over March 2011 prices, it was only 29 euros per adult then, and 9 euros per child. And no unlimited drinks at all now by the looks of it (it wasn't particularly American themed either previously). If the food isn't up to the standard it was before, I wouldn't bother at all with that, I'd go to Restaurant des Stars instead :).

It doesn't look particularly inspiring in those photos :(

I was looking forward to this, my Birthday is on Sunday 17th March, I was planning a lazy day at SL at the pool, sauna etc., then the Steakhouse Brunch, and park late afternoon and evening for the St Patricks Day fireworks.

Might have to have a rethink then, the Inventions Brunch is just too expensive as we're 4 adults and there for 6 days, I do need to budget accordingly. :headache:

We were not too impressed by this meal. Was nice, but it's not something we will hurry back too if you know what I mean.

Have you done the Ratatouille restaurant or Plaza Gardens Donald Ducks Wife ? How would you compare it to those, characters aren't important to us this time, so it really all comes down to whether the food is worth the extra spend.

Restaurant des stars (ratatouille) is our favourite, we ate there 3 times on our last trip(8 nights). It's the best 'normal' food buffet we have been too. When I say normal, I mean its not full of sea food and strange looking cheese's, which we are not use too. We like to fill up at buffets while we are away, and restaurant des stars is good for that, as it's meats, salads, pasta, pizza, and the desserts are amazing!! It feels like a nice family friendly restaurant.
Plaza gardens, we have only ate at once (same trip as above) we were not too impressed, again for the sea food etc

It just depends what you want, if you want sea food and local type food, then plaza gardens and the sunday brunch is great, but for me, I'm a down to earth girl, who just wants her tummy full so I can go enjoy the parks, and of course eat food that I know that I enjoy, then it's restaurant des. Stars.

But that's just my opinion, maybe others have a different perspective
