We fly in on Sunday Mothers Day and will not get to park until perhaps 4pm. We are there for another 4 days but with Regis and Kelly taping that day plus weekend plus first weekend for 50th I am anticipating huge crowds. Any advice as to how to make use of what is less than 1/2 day, perhaps just focus on parades and night fireworks?

Get settled in my resort and go to DTD for a nice dinner.I would not use a day from my ticket for a half day.Get a good nights rest and start my touring of parks the next day. :goodvibes :wave2:

I am in the same situation except we will be driving from Niceville, Florida (about 5-6 hours). We hope to be there by 3 or 4pm. Since we have seasonal passes it won't be wasting a ticket for the second half of the day so we will probably head over to MGM (they have the EMH that night). If you have seasonal or annual passes then I say go enjoy the fireworks, parades, rides, etc. If you have a set amount of tickets, I would save them for a full day. I am also worried about the Regis & Kelly crowds. We will be there from May 8th until May 15th. Have a great trip!

We arrive on May 8th too. We'll get there around 10:30am- we are going to have b-fast or lunch at AKL and then going to DTD for some shopping til our room is ready. Then we are going to head to MGM for EMH!!! :flower:
